Played this course on 10/31/2014 and was thoroughly disappointed. The course appeared to be in great shape but was able to play 9 holes before being assaulted by one of the course marshals. We called the course to complain about a fivesome, normally the course only allows foursomes, that was two holes behind. We was met at the ninth hole by a course marshal with the option of skipping a hole to get in front of them or leave the course. I have never been witness to a course marshal intentionally trying to start a fight with a customer who was only asking questions regarding slow play. Too bad Hidden Valley lets idiots represent them and potentially run off their customers, unless that's the normal procedure at that course. The marshal, Tom, was verbally and physically abusive to one of the members of our foursome and in my opinion is lucky to still be alive. And wouldn't you know it, the course general manager and head golf professional were both out of the office on vacation. I would not recommend this course to anyone until they reconsider their customer service attitude. My golf club usually has a 80 player tournament at this course every other year. I think we will take our business elsewhere!
