Course has been renamed to California Oaks, new owners and they have dramatically improved this course over the last 3 months. The greens are in much better shape than before. The service wasn't quite as nice. I had a 10:48am tee time, but didn't tee off until 11:15am. The tee times are $10 cheaper after 11am, but they would not give me $10 back for each person in the party even though we didn't tee off until after 11am. Made me a little frustrated and the round took forever. At every tee box there would be 2 parties ahead of us, sometimes took 15 minutes just to tee off. This really messed up my rythm. I have had tee times after 12-noon and they pace was much faster. I recommend this course if your a beginner and want to go cheap I recommend paying less and playing in the afternoon. You will leave the course with a positive attitude and might comeback.

Played The Colony for the first time. For a course that seemed private it is a great Public Value. I paid $18 at twlight and had a great time without alot of waiting. This course is longer than most executives so I don't think you can call it that. The greens are very fast and the layout itself was pretty cool. I loved the 7th hole! I am looking forward to coming out here and playing this track again. Lots of fun, especially with your buddies.

Played July 4th, 8am start, Course is in good to above good contition. most fairways lush, greens were a little pock marked but true. Over all fun course, and I will for sure revisit.

It's a fun course and fast. Got stuck behind a large tournament that they forgot to tell me about. So, after playing the first 9 in an hour called it a day at 9:00 AM. I'll go back.

This is a great course for the money. There are always coupons in the paper for $20 with cart. Bunkers kind of hard but tees and greens in great shape. Finished in just over 3 1/2 hours.
