Played this track on thanksgiving---if you go to the website you are led to believe that the changes have been made from a par 65 to a par 70---while that may be true in the future the changes are still in progress and the tees are at their normal spots....the greens were beat up, the course was unkept, I saw more gophers than I could count meaning there were gopher holes all over the place, there was no starter, we payed a 45$ rate for this piece of shi* while other much better courses around the county were discounting green fees for the holiday at even a lower rate than california oaks... until they get the fairways with grass/greens kept up/new tees functional they should not be charging 45$ to play this dog track, needs alot of work so I nor will anyone else I know that plays golf will be heading out to this goat field....hey california oaks: get your shi* together and quit screwing the public until this joint actually looks like a golf course, the service sucked as well overall EMBARRASSING!!! stay away---go play cherry hills 10 mins up the road at least you know what your getting at its 5 bucks cheaper and 2000 yds longer......I've heard this place has new management----it does have a new clubhouse---appearantly the brainstorm is lets move a few tees around and raise the green fees--wouldn't pay over 30$ to play it the way it is now.

This course is surprizing longer than most executives. The greens are very fast and the layout itself was pretty cool. With the new management in the last 10 months, this course has been completely redone with one of nicest green in the Valley. I loved this beautiful yet challenging course. The service is very friendly with care and respect. I am looking forward to coming out here and playing this track again. Lots of fun, especially with my buddies. I just love it.

What an experience...prearranged special price for large group, they charged an overrated price and then had to credit everyone back. Forced us into quick play because they had a tournament starting in an half hour after our tee time. Groundskeepers show no regard for players, lawnmower running constantly. No water in ball washers and very few water stops along the way. Not well kept up, new management very arrogant. In my opinion, this is a course to stay away from.

Haven't played this course in bit and I wish I hadn't. I remember when the staff had good customer service, and the course was in good shape. The residents just complain and rip the management, and from what I understand their GM/Director of Golf isn't even a golfer or PGA. There was a guy there before that was dull but at least his staff gave good customer service. We played a 5 hour round on this lil course. There is no reason for that. Our cart died and the pro shop said no body could come bring us a new one for an hour. What is that about? I bought a dozen balls from the pro shop and when I opened the sleeves each one only had two balls in it. One was missing from each sleeve. I told the pro shop about it and he laughed. Anyway.. will never go there again unless forced too.

Before the course was sold, it was a great deal. After it was purchased, I have found that the price is way too high and the customer service is deplorable. Of the courses I avoid, this is one.

I play this course often. It seems like it should be so easy but it kicks my butt alot. A real challenge.

and I pay $10 (twilight) with a cart and that includes a dozen wings from Hooter's for free! This is the best deal around. The only complaints about the course are the uneven tee boxes and I walk the course and they take in the water buckets at about 4-5 when it is still in the 90's. Otherwise a great play for the money.
