Played Bellevue on Saturday morning (5/10/14) and paid the rack rate of 41.00 at 6:30 am. Conditions were decent enough, although it felt as though the course's greens were a little bit slower than the practice green, which led me to needing a few holes to get used to. Fairways and rough were fine, not great but not as bad as they've been here in the past. Didn't find a bunker, so I can't say how they were, although usually they're pretty good here. Tee boxes are always pretty bad, they're quite small, many in shade, so they tend to get really torn up. This is especially true on the par 3's and short 4's. Pace of play was decent enough at 4:10, although you'd think at 6:30 am it would be a little quicker. Our group of 4 ended up waiting a few times on the 2 groups of 3 in front of us, which felt rather annoying. Overall, it was worth it as I live right around the corner from the place.

Took last Friday (10/18/2013) off work and played Bellevue in the morning. Found the greens to be pretty well recovered from their punch, although that doesn't mean they were all that great. But they weren't too bad, and were definitely the best part of the course. Some of the fairways had just been punched, and were quite atrocious while others were pretty good. Some tee boxes were ok, and a few (the usual ones, that are hidden in the trees) were pretty much just dirt. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, and at the price (around $30 to walk) I really can't complain, it was still much better than being in the office.

Played Bellevue this morning (3/10/13) and found the experience to be quite disappointing, on just about every level. The tee time I had made wasn't honored, they fit me in as a single anyway, yet neglected to call me to the 1st tee from the putting green. I only made it down there because I saw that there were 3 players on the 1st tee box, and I went in to the pro shop to ask. I generally don't comment on customer service, but this time was just too disappointing. The course itself is exactly how I was expecting it to be, exactly like the last time I reviewed it. Bumpy greens, soggy sloppy fairways and rough, and horribly chewed up tee boxes. Decent enough sand in the bunkers, although many players there don't seem to know how to use a rake. It was early, so the pace was ok, we got around in 4:10. Bellevue's definitely a place to avoid.

I can't remember the last time I played Bellevue and didn't regret it. This morning was no different, the greens are bumpy and inconsistent, tee boxes are pretty awful, and the fairways passable, I'd guess. At least the two bunkers I were in weren't bad. The pace was really the only saving grace, getting around in about 3 hours. Of course, that was because we were the 3rd group out, playing as a two with only a two and a three in front of us. Since the place is right around the corner from where I live I pretty much have to play it, but I really wish I'd gone ahead and driven a little further. There's much better golf that isn't too far away.
