I played the Links today around 1230 at a rate of $29. They charge $10 for range balls but do give more than enough to split with someone else. The range was chewed up and sandy. They’ve installed turf to hit off but just a limited number of space.
Not a lot of play going on the Links but the Adobe looked busier. I was surprised to see the beverage cart out and we saw it twice during the round. They have a number of water stations around the course.
They recently aerated the greens and many have not recovered. The first 6 greens are nearly unplayable with the remaining in better shape but very slow. Many of the greens were nearly bare.
Fairways were mostly good with the normal Arizona June look to them. No real rough to speak of with numerous bare spots. Extra distance to be had with drives rolling out.
I enjoy the Links course because of the hole variety. When the greens recover this course is with it to play. Customer service was very good with employees engaged with the guests.
I would wait awhile before playing to give the greens a chance to recover.
