This is a fun course when it’s kept up. The last few times I’ve noticed course has been drying out. Last year their pump broke and lost a green or 2 . They recovered and they were back to fast greens and narrow fairways.
Now it’s drying out again now the tee boxes are horrible. I’m hoping they repair them soon with all the time off they should have been in great shape. The price can’t be beat 20 for 18 holes. Greens were hard but slow go figure. It does wind through senior housing so if you spray your shots this is not the course you want to play.

It’s a fun course they have great specials. You also get a show if you’re playing mid morning as the airbase has flyovers F-35’s and F-18’s for a few hours as they practice or return from drills. So if noise bothers you stay home. I love it that’s why I play mid day there. I hope they get it back to when I first payed it green everywhere and fast greens.

Give it a try you won’t be disappointed, well that’s is if it’s in decent shape

Ok. I am basing this review on the fact that I paid 14.00 to play this course. If I had paid over say, 50, 60 bucks I would be super pissed.

Ok. I am basing this review on the fact that I paid 14.00 to play this course. If I had paid over say, 50, 60 bucks I would be super pissed.

This track meanders through a manufactured home complex. They are all very nice and do not detract or add anything negative.

It's a very fun layout. Most holes have quite a lot of room off the tee but a few holes make you question if driver is the wise choice. It even had some (slight) elevation changes. Lots of mounding that add to the look and challenge.
6500 from the tips but it's not driver SW all day as there are some legit length holes (440+) and some of the shorter ones really call for a long iron off the to play smart.

Conditions.
Tees were ok, mostly flat with good coverage.
Fairways were pretty shaggy for the most part though there were a few that were mown tighter. I think whoever was mowing the fairways was jumping around a bit.
Mostly good coverage with a few bare/poor spots. But mostly they were very nice to play from.

Rough was pretty low at 1"-2". Not too tough at all. Did not put it any bunkers but they looked kinda bare in some areas.
Chipping/green side rough was pretty good.

Greens complexes were pretty cool with many two and three their greens. If the greens had been rolling (more on that in a sec) I could see them being very, very challenging.

The greens had mostly good coverage with the exception of a few on the back.
But... they were SLOW and shaggy. From what I understand that is pretty common this time of year.

All in all a pretty neat course. Super great deal at under 20.00 with cart.
If it is in better condition in the winter it would be worth a look when the big boys are all costing 100.00+.

We played in less than four hours and really enjoyed out time at Pueblo and after being in the 107 degree temperature for that time we were parched. We entered the bar and saw several patrons with ice cold frosty drafts in hand and were told, “We’re closed!” Maybe because we were the last group on the course (finished at 3:50 pm) and only a couple other cars in the parking lot but ………….. Go play it for yourself and see if your results are different than ours were. Another page to the story the following weekend our group prepared to play another local course and our third showed up a little late apparently he could not find his clubs and had to play with his father’s. He thought his clubs had been stolen. He called Pueblo after we finished play for the day and low and behold they had his clubs there in the Golf shop! He was asked to identify those clubs and went the next day to retrieve them, Amen and Praise the Lord! So when it’s all said and done the folks out there at Pueblo are an honest bunch and we’ll go back to play just for that reason.

Not a bad course for the money. Paid $26 for an afternoon round on a Friday. Course is decent but there were a lot of walkers and pace of play was slow with no marshall in site. Around 5:35p a worker came by and said all carts had to be returned by 6:00p. We only had 3 holes left and at 6:05, as we were on the 18th fairway he came by and asked us to hurry up. Needless to say we finished. If you are looking for a true golf experience this isn't the course but if you are looking for a decent course for the money I would recommend Pueblo. Course has some challenging holes with some water on a couple of Par 3's. Greens are decent but be careful driving between some holes because if you miss a sign you may be driving through the neighborhood for a while. Enjoy
