Played Sat 7/19. Real nice layout with good views. Course was not in the best of shape. Winter rye in rough was mostly dead and slopes were many times bare. A lot of blind shots on this course. It had GPS but still needed more local knowledge. Would really like to play this during September again before the prices get ridiculous.

Did not use the range but the practice putting green was NOTHING like the course. The greens on the course seemed to be inconsistent in speed. Could be because of all the rain that we had lately. I consider myself a decent - good putter but I had no clue on that day.

Would rate this more of an incomplete due to not using all of the facility and playing with some really bad (think 120 - 130) golfers. Notwithstanding, the layout is very picturesque and challenging, will try again in the future.

Played June 12 2008 8:15 Tee Time. Temp 85 rising to 98 slight wind. 1st time playing here and it was all the reviews said it was. Greens were just aerated but still played true and moderately fast. GPS units state of the art, iced cooler on carts, and towels supplied. Very challenging layout with some holes requiring some thought about distance off the tee to set up for ravines needed to carry on the second shot. Great 17th and finishing holes. Clean. Websit excellent. Would definitely play again.

You won't be disappointed if you put SunRidge Canyon on your playlist. Might want to also play at We-Ko-Pa or GC at Eagle Mountain as long as you're in Fountain Hills. Last played in December '07. ... Continue »

You won't be disappointed if you put SunRidge Canyon on your playlist. Might want to also play at We-Ko-Pa or GC at Eagle Mountain as long as you're in Fountain Hills. Last played in December '07. Fun and challenging. Excellent conditions. Down into the canyon on the front and make your way back up on the return. We've always had to play cart path only which is disappointing, but they said a little later in December, they're usually 90 degrees on fairway. First hole is driveable if you're feeling confident!
