From the staff, to the practice facilities, to the course, it was excellent. Course was in great shape and the staff made you feel like a regular. We started at 8:00am and finished in 4 hours, on a Saturday no less! I would definately play here again.

Played there this last Saturday, 08/11. Pleasantly surprised. Very flat course, with no elevation changes. Course was in good shape. It had both left and right doglegs, water, short carries off the tee box, and lots of mature tree lined fairways. I thought the greens were very nice, not very bumpy at all. Felt like a good muni course. Played as a threesome, and we were not pushed or held up at all, round took about 4 hours. Not bad for a Saturday morning. I good place to play a practice round and work on all your shots. I'm not sure about the greens fees. I think it was $40 for a Saturday morning tee-time with cart. About average price I guess for a muni.

Played on Sat. 07/07/07. Course was in decent shape, especially the greens, bunkers, and tee boxes. The fairways had some dry spots, but overall were good. I landed one short in front of the green about ten yards and my ball was in a small dirt area that was cracked like a dry desert lake. However, this was an exception as most fairways were decent.

Played this last Sunday and it was hot! 110+F. This course was a little tougher than the Nick, but I still enjoyed the layout. The fairways and greens were showing a little yellowing from the heat, but overall the course was still in good shape. Some holes felt very generic, but some other holes had me thinking WTF! Especially the 16th with a greenside bunker that was 25 feet below the green!

Played there this last Saturday. Although it was about 110F, it was very enjoyable. I was surprised to see how well the course looked given the heat. The course was perfect and very fun to play. The Nick wasn't as hard as Stadium, but the layout still forced you to play smart golf. I think any skill level would have fun here. We stayed at the La Quinta resort with unlimited golf on the Nick and Satdium course for about $155. Well worth it if the heat doesn't bother you. Remember to stay hydrated!

I don't know why this place gets such a bad rap. I think it's well worth the green fee. $34 dollars weekend. The grass is green, the greens and fairways are pretty good. Would I bring a client here, no. However, for a cheap round of golf, the course is decent. The bad: Every group is a fivesome, causes slow play. Smell from Dairy across street makes you glad you're a city boy. Cart paths are like 4-wheelin' off road somewhere. Club house is in bad shape, next earthquake should put it out of it's missery. Low rate brings out the hackers. You'll often wonder how that group got in front of you, don't worry they're just passing through. That being said, the course is in decent shape.

This is a great track. However, bring your A game. 100 - 200 yard carries and narrow fairways. If you slice or hook, just tee-up another because the desert eats up the balls. Course was in great shape and people there were friendly. I would like to play here again, because the course kicked my butt the first time.

I really enjoyed this course. Played today with a group of all skill levels, and everybody had a good round. It was as challenging as you wanted to make it. I found it very much like Sunridge Canyon, but more forgiving. I would recommend this beautiful course to my friends.

Played May 31, 2 pm. A really nice course that I thought was really tough. If you aren't very accurate with driver, leave it in the bag. Fairways are narrow and desert could be an issue. Greens, rough and tee boxes were great. Greens were slower than other Scottsdale courses. Some fairways had yellow thin spots and mud from over watering. Course is fun if you play within yourself and play smart.

Played this course on 04/13/07. We had a 1:30pm tee time for $99. Course was perfect, as was the customer service. Greens were aerated the week before, but were still decent to putt on. Bali Hai offers caddies and forecaddies. If you never had the opportunity, I suggest the forecaddy program. Those guys hustle around the course for you. Suggested tipping is $25 per player in the foursome. They repair your divits and ball marks, give you tips on how to play the hole, and spot your ball down the course. I don't think I would pay full price for this course, but for $99, absolutely!

I love to play this course on the way home from work. Twi-light rate is $9 to walk, $14 w/ cart. The course is not in the best condition, but I have played far worse for a lot more money. This is a good practice course if you are a beginner or just want to work on your game. The biggest issues I see are other golfers not repairing their ball marks and somebody appears to have stolen all the rakes from the bunkers. To bad there is talk about closing it down.
