Greenskeeper.org bows updated Golf Score Tracker

Greenskeeper.org (GK) unveils its latest improvements to its already popular GK Score Tracker. Aimed at improving an individual’s golf game, the Score Tracker has been enhanced to provide hole-by-hole statistics to pinpoint game improvement.

Previously named the GK Handicap Tracker, this latest version of the revamped GK Score Tracker aims at enhancing the understanding of your golf game,” says John Hakim, President of Greenskeeper.org. Unlike the benchmarks provided by the United States Golf Association (USGA) such as Index and Handicap, the Score Tracker breaks down an individual’s golf game into components to help a golfer focus on improving their golf game.

Compared to other websites that purport to have a handicap tracker monitoring game progress and improvement, the Score Tracker takes the raw data per hole and with a few additional information points such as Putts per green, Fairways in regulation and Greens in Regulation, Sand Saves, and Penalties, “it spits out tangible data a golfer of any skill level can understand and improve,” says Hakim. The more information you provide the more robust the analysis.

A golfer can then take that information and focus their attention where they may need the most improvement. Charts, graphs, and easy to understand analysis of your golf game are just part of the value the Score Tracker offers. The Score Tracker employs statistical analysis to pinpoint your tendencies. It offers a snapshot of your golf game. “Understanding where your game needs improvement is almost as important as having a golf professional analyze and improve your golf swing,” Hakim says.

Greenskeeper.org’s philosophy is golfers helping other golfers. And the Score Tracker works well within the confines of a Golf Social Network such as GK. “The Score Tracker was created in response to our members wanting more out of their golf experience. They wanted something to help them show tangible improvement in their game,” says Hakim. When they post a golf course review on GK they can also enter their scores and track their progress.

Membership to Greenskeeper.org is FREE, and GK offer these tools free to all its members. The Score Tracker is just one of the many useful tools available at Greenskeeper.org. It is the online community focused on helping other golfers. With Aeration Alerts, detailed golf course reviews, and vibrant online community, in addition to the GK Score Tracker, Greenskeeper.org provides everything any skill level of golfer could ask.
