Played 9/7. Course is located in Berthoud south of Loveland. Beautiful views of the foothills and Lonetree Reservoir. It is also the course used by the Korn Ferry Tour. It opened about a year ago. You can play from 4157 up to 7991 yards (yikes). And it is pricey at $185 so make sure you have a connection. Times are limited for the members and difficult to get a morning time. Most likely w/o a member playing with you, a late AM or Noon and later will be available. They built it as a links course. Great par 3's especially 3 and 8. As expected we found no issues with the tee boxes. And the fairways are generous (at least for my game) and no problems with lies/roll. Lots of pot bunkers but very playable. Large undulating greens with firm surfaces (being so new) and speedy. And if you do play here, go back to the back tee on # 13 and play a 780 yard hole for the first time in your life (holy crap). Fantastic HUGE clubhouse. Tremendous practice facilities. Great food and views from the terrace. Wonderful customer service. IMO this is a course that those of us who love a challenge and exceptionally designed courses will like. But you have to be willing to ACCEPT paying $185 (unless you go with a member) that the cost is worth it.
