Miles and awards needed using or losing. Easy choice. Go to HI. Friends not using their home at present so more $$$ for golf. I came to HI many times in the past and never really played here. But I have come to love playing here everytime I come back. Its not pretentious or expensive. Its a gem of a course IMO and is playable for every golfer. Played yesterday and found the course in great shape. Tremendous customer service (another great reason to come here). Never had an issue with a tee box. Fairways in good shape and very playable. Traps in good condition and also playable. Greens were a bit slow due to the grass here in HI vs CA but did not take long to figure the speed out and we were fine. The bar and grill is called Sunsets (guess why) and I loved the food/drinks and prices. If you are looking for good golf, reasonable prices and not the WOW factor of a Plantation Course or Wailea or many other Maui courses. Then this is your place IMO. Will be playing here several times before we leave.
