Played Hawaii Prince this morning teeing off at 8:30 and finishing at 12:40 so just a little over 4 hours. I played with 2 ladies and a man all from Canada and they were extremely nice and we all enjoyed playing. The course has 27 holes named A,B, and C along with a very good restaurant, driving range and a very good practice area. We played A and B and I played the whites for a total of 6250 yards and tee boxes are all level and divots were sanded in. Fairways are rolling hills but have generous landing areas but the course has some rough and several lakes which really don’t come into play unless you pull or push your drive or second shot depending on what hole you’re on. Fairways are easy to play from and the greens really roll true they aren’t that fast but I would say 10 on the stimp. Sand is very compact and you can hear the thump if you hit it right. The course reminds me of a Tustin Ranch more resort course than anything. It is about a 45 drive from Waikiki plus they have a package where the fee includes the shuttle from your hotel. For us senior Kamaaina folks it’s 55.00 I’m not sure what visitors pay, but I’m sure there are deals out there. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area..

This was the third leg of our golf tour during our family's Hawaii vacay back in April 2015. Saw some good reviews on golfnow and decided to give it a go:

• Fairways were in good condition
• Greens – we played course A & C. Course A’s greens were great shape as they just aerated the greens in Mid-March. Course C’s greens were decent. Course C’s greens good b
• Pace of play: Tee’d off at 6:56am and the course wide open. We completed our round by 11:00am
• Great Pro Shop- Great customer service. My wife has found good deals here
• Complementary Swag:
o Tees, etc….
• Weather Conditions: Play early, as it gets windy/gusty in the afternoon. (hit a 320 yard bomb on #5, with a tail wind of course)
• Layout: Course lay out is resort style, as homes line the fairways but the overall layout is challenging. The course layout has some elevated
• Experience: A couple of Ocean views, holes 8 & 9, as you can see Waikiki in the backdrop
• Very pricey round- reasonably priced $99 per round.
• Overall: This is a good course, but probably doesn’t get as justice since we played this course after playing Ko Olina and Kapolei. Will definitely play again when we’re back on the island
