Played here Sunday morning. Was able to book a 5:52 tee time the day before. $55 with cart, though this would be a great walking course because it's so flat and not spread out at all. Either way, one of the more "affordable" options in the Bay Area for weekend rack. I was paired with a local couple who play here a lot and claimed to be fast players. They lived up to my own extreme definition of fast and we finished all 18 in about 2.5 hours as a threesome (with some waiting on maintenance, too)! Couldn't have worked out better. The course was in very good overall shape. It was very lush, green and well-maintained throughout for a low-end muni. Tee boxes and fairways generally great. Rough pretty consistent and not too much challenge. Greens soft and rolling a bit slow with morning moisture, but good surfaces. Bunkers the only real weak spot. The sand was decent, but it was wet and really packed down like wet concrete. Probably just needs a good "fluffing." The conditions were nice. The layout is pretty basic with a back and forth routing and not too many interesting points. Back nine gets a little tighter with houses/streets in play on a few holes. Pretty traditional muni kind of course, but it's somewhat reasonably priced and for whatever reasons not quite as crowded as others will be on a weekend morning.

Skywest is a long flat course with parallel fairways. It's your typical muni course. It's apparent that there has been a focus on grounds maintainence the past year or two. The fairways are impeccable and the greens are very good.

Paid $25.00 today so I can't complain too much. This municipal course is really a decent course with some length, doglegs, water hazards and many huge old trees. Rode a cart included in the price but this is a good walking course. Overall the conditions are fair to poor in some spots whether it be the tee boxes, fairways, bunkers or greens. Greens were consistently slow but viable. Pro shop is small and functional. The restaurant/bar is the shining beacon with great yelp reviews. There is a ratty driving range available with a short game area. I don't know if this is a constant but from the 2nd hole to about the ninth I believe, it stunk like passing Harris' Ranch on I-5. It was nasty but maybe it was an anomaly. Overall, we had a nice, easy going mid week round for cheap. Nice to do once in a while.

First time playing this course, played from the 3rd set of tees. Most par 4's are 390-420 yards (Land must have been cheap with it being next to an airport and train tracks). Course is very flat (like Chuck Corica in Alameda) and straight, get a bit boring after a couple of holes. Greens are consistently good throughout the course. Good value, but again, not a very interesting course. If I play again, I'll walk it instead of ride.

Just played there and the course was in decent shape. I'm a beginner so I enjoyed the wide fairways on some of the holes. The clubhouse is nice and we had a decent lunch after our round of golf.

That being said, it's slow play poor customer service and fairways need a little TLC. I'm no expert but it had not rained in 6 weeks and the course was a muddy mess I think they over water or have a major leak somewhere! For the price it's well worth the money, do expect to have a 5 1/2 round on the weekends. Dont bother to tell anyone one in the pro shop they dont seem interested in our problems...

played here again and last year the about 1/3 of greens were being redone. WOW, there really nice now, the course is still a favorite as it reminds me of my high school course with the trees all along the fairways.. most are generous but if you get to the other side it makes getting to the green tricky. the course was well watered and had a few dry spots but overall was really good. the greens were plenty soft maybe too soft as they were a bit bumpy in some areas but I will take a soft green over a dry hard one any day...lol
this course still amazes me at the great deals it has for weekday play and weekends. if I lived closer I would play here a lot....
