long lasting tees
Wednesday August 18, 2010
I have used Smarty Tees for over a year. I finally ran out of the last ones I bought; they're very durable but will break in time.I've used a single tee for two to 2 1/2 rounds. I just ordered another batch. I hope they're still making them when i run out of these in a couple of years

Be Smart use this tee
Saturday February 7, 2009
I had not even seen these before our Moorpark outing. I still use the same two from the outing one tall, one short. They are amazingly tough. Yes a little effort needed to get them all the way down in the ground but it gives you a couple extra seconds to calm down and then get focused on the shot ahead. I did have a small dent on one of the tees from the range but it did not effect the use of the tee. The divot tool built in is nice. I highly recommend this tee.

I used the Smart Tee all day at the GK tourney at Moorpark CC. The benefit of this product is that it is highly unlikely that this tee will ever break. It can be used as a divot tool also. This in itself should lend to those that do not own divot tools or even know what they are. I found the smart tee to work fine when replacing divots on the greens. Both sets of smart tees teed the ball up high enough for me which is crucial when you are hitting an oversized driver in my mind. I liked the fact that I did not have extra crap in my pocket(which would have been multiple tees and a divot tool). Smart tees have two different sizes which is nice. I also agree with some of the other reviewers in that it is a little harder to put these into the ground....but you get used to it.

Got a 6 pack of these at a GK outing. Didn't need so many as used the same one for each drive. They are pretty durable for me and easy to find after teeing off. They are a little harder to push in the ground than standard tees, but will last longer. As a divot tool, it isn't the best, but will make do. Fun product and great discussion opener on the 1st tee.

Great Product
Tuesday January 27, 2009
I used the smart tees at the Moorpark CC outing, and I have to agree with Johnny. Having the ball teed up the same way every time really does contribute to consistent ball flight. I used the same two tees all day: tall one for driver, short one for irons. Neither suffered any damage. Using the prongs as an alignment aid on the tee box did not hurt, either. It is a little harder to push the tees in, but you get used to it.

Tee Magic
Saturday January 24, 2009
This product must be constructed of one of the higher line plastics on the market. I played an incredible 10 rounds of 18 hole Golf using just ONE of these 2 3/4" tees, I know that sounds incredible until I read a review at their web site where a reviewer claimed he has used a 2 1/8" tee for several rounds as well.I wouldn't have believed it unless I was the one using this tee. I also thought the repair tool feature was a very clever idea. Having just one tee and a ball marker in my pocket was also a real pleasure. For once a real quality product.I felt so strongly about this product I just had to write this review.

Great things come in small packages!
Monday January 19, 2009
This is a special value. Good things do come in small packages. Tried out these little guys and have to say, short of having to fish these out of my pocket every time, this is a great tool. The plastic, and I know plastic is a good grade of either ABS or Polycarbonate. That mean's this product will last. It can take a pretty good amount of abuse and still retain it's shape quite well. The shape of the divot tool is actually pretty good. The video on the site shows the incorrect way of fixing a divot BTW. You're not supposed lift, breaking the roots, and push. You're supposed to push the divot closed. The tapered design once you push down on the divot automatically pushes the divot closed. So you just have to push straight down with the SmarTee and the divot will close. Keep doing that around the perimeter of the divot and it will close completely. Just need to tap the surface flat with your putter head and viola...done! I like the ability to add artwork. may have to think about supplying this to our golf sponsored outings.

Great First Impression
Thursday January 8, 2009
Used the SmarTee for the first time yesterday and here’s my take:
I started with a 3 ¼ tee but quickly switched to the 2 ¾. Once I switched, my drive was dialed in. Here’s what I liked: I liked how my ball was teed up the same height every time. All day I had solid contact and identical flight trajectory. It reveled to me that although with a standard tee I may think I’m teeing it up the same height, in reality I was not. Teeing up the same height consistently really made a difference. Also, I did not break the tee all day. I have a swing speed of 105 MPH and break traditional tees with almost every shot. Yes I did put small dents on it, but it’s ready to go for the next round. Furthermore, this tee was actually a better ball mark fixer than my current one. It’s sharper and the natural curves of the tee easily allow the correct repair technique to be applied. Lastly, I really liked not having to go to my bag for a new tee throughout my round and only need to put the SmarTee plus a coin to mark my ball in pocket…just one less thing to do and more time to focus on my game. What I did not like (Minor): At first, I found I needed to push harder on the tee to put it in ground than a standard tee. I got used to it and I’m fine now but at first it was bothersome. Secondly, it’s easy to put the SmarTee in the ground and have it not be perfectly straight up. Anyway, I paid a bit more attention to when I put the tee in ground and that issue was solved quickly. Overall, I’m now a big fan of this product! | ||||
