NXT Tour - Pick your poison
Thursday May 10, 2012
Compared to the more expensive "Tour" multilayer balls (Pro V1, Penta 5, etc...) the NXT Tour will launch a little higher and hotter off the clubface. I picked up a couple yards, but nothing dramatic. There's a definite sacrifice with feel and spin on shots around the green as well as off the putter. The feeling of the ball jumping off the clubface is great off the driver, but not when you're trying to hit a 20 yard pitch over a bunker or a 10 foot, downhill sliding putt. I like more control and a softer feel on and around the greens. Might be a good ball to play over the winter when ya need some extra yards in the cold and the greens are soft, but in general, it's not for me.

No longer skeptical
Tuesday February 21, 2012
I've tried many a ball, almost hobby like to get a different sleeve and play it for a round. Asked my pro what he thinks I should use and told me to try these. Found a cheap sleeve on ebay and gave it a whirl. I never thought of these as a distance ball, but played at Olivas and hit 2 drives 300, and many more around 280. Not exaggerating, witnessed by other GK'ers ;) I usually hit my good drives about 275. I never really see much spin on my ball, but actually had on come back a bit off a gap wedge, where as usually mine just hit and stop or roll a couple inches.
I love this ball, and once I am done with the large amount of other random sleeves I have, I will start buying these only.

Titleist NXT
Thursday August 26, 2010
I have tried almost a differnt brand of golf balls every time I needed to get some and when I got to Titleist NXT I was sold. The ball seems to do what you want and also the lob in it is great on those holes you need to pitch from 30 to 40 yards to the green. The back spin and over bounce are amazing. I highly recomend you give Titleist a try

Finally!
Thursday August 26, 2010
After trying quite a few different balls, I found you that suits me.
I find that I have gain more distance (irons especially) and control with this ball. It is pretty durable and holds up well. To the green, I'm actually seeing some back spin on the approach. Love this ball!
