Compared to the more expensive "Tour" multilayer balls (Pro V1, Penta 5, etc...) the NXT Tour will launch a little higher and hotter off the clubface. I picked up a couple yards, but nothing dramatic. There's a definite sacrifice with feel and spin on shots around the green as well as off the putter. The feeling of the ball jumping off the clubface is great off the driver, but not when you're trying to hit a 20 yard pitch over a bunker or a 10 foot, downhill sliding putt. I like more control and a softer feel on and around the greens. Might be a good ball to play over the winter when ya need some extra yards in the cold and the greens are soft, but in general, it's not for me. » Close
