This tool is easier to use than any other I have seen. It has a unique design and penetrates the ground with ease and works like a charm. I'm surprised it isn't in more golf shops? Try one, you'll never go back to the old style!

First time I tried the Duo I picked up a blemished pack at Roger Dunn. I was playing Wilson's LX Distance ball. With the Duo, I like the soft feel and distance off the club face, I get great distance (for me), and I like the better feel around the green. I'm a mid handicapper and I am very happy with these balls. At RD, they were under $10 and if I had known how much I would like them, I would have stocked up. It's hard to find them for under $19 and change, although I would submit that is still half the price of the premium balls to which I think these are comparable. » Close

I love everything about this ball. Great launch off your club, nice soft feel, durable, and easy to locate. Great Price/Great Feel/another GREAT ball from Srixon. » Close

This is my 2nd Golf Buddy GPS product. (1st being the GB Voice -- which I thought I had lost; hence, why I now have the upgraded WT3 Watch.) This product is truly amazing as well. Although it doesn't 'talk' to you; it does have a multitude of features. The amount of detail it provides (bunkers/water/trees/cart paths...on and on) is Great. You can also select the pin placement and it will give you your distance from angle of approach. You can use it to track your score (which I don't as I do find it a little difficult to navigate around to the various menus/buttons. Takes a little getting used to). Also has a GPS tracking feature to track hiking/running outtings. It is a bit larger than the GBV, but not uncomfortable to wear. Only good for 1 round then needs recharging. Docking station for charging is somewhat awkward. This can also double as a simple watch (which as a watch only does last for over 5 days on a single charge.) This GPS watch still reflects the hole you are on, Par, and front/center/back of the green at initial glance. I like this one a tidge better than the simpler GBVoice mainly because it gives me distance to the front and back of water hazards (something I have issues with). I did a comparison between the Golf Buddy Voice and Voice Caddy, and hands down, Golf Buddy product (in this gals opinion) is far superior. A simple glance at your wrist, push of a couple buttons (if you want more details), and you have your distances. I absolutely Love Love Love it. Would given all 5's but I had/have a little harder time getting accustomed to navigating with it. » Close

My personal opinion is unless you're a 6 or under or hitting range balls, there is no reason to spend more than $2 on a ball. It won't help your game that much. This ball looks good, sounds good, has great feel and flies as well as a Titelist Velocity. Great value!

I'm surprised to see not one review for these fairway clubs even though it maybe outdated (10+ years),thought for sure some kind of reviews.
I really wasn't in the market for another club UNLESS it would be a back up for my LYNX 5 wood (travel set).I just happened to be in Seal Beach, popped into Roger Dunn. LARGE BAG of Woods when I entered the store, marked $9.99 PLUS additional 30% off. REALLY? What kind of condition would these clubs be let alone what would ACTUALLY be in the bag?
Mixed among many different brand drivers, hybrids, fairway woods was a CALLAWAY BIG BERTHA (2nd generation?) 5 wood for $9.99 minus 30%! Well, I had to give it a go!
I proceeded to $pend the next hour using the hitting bay launch monitor comparing to other more modern 5 woods that were available slightly higher px. Kept coming back to the Callaway BIG BERTHA 5 wood,it felt solid, xclnt condition. I STILL needed confirmation this would be a club in my bag not collecting dust!
The small steel head design with the built in "rail" along the middle of the sole of the club, with cut outs to remove weight & turf drag design.Very similar to my LYNX 5 wood so it would be a great back up!
Very easy to hit once I figured out how to adjust my ball position. The REAL test would be "IF" I can hit a baby fade off the surface, grant it,not actual rough but the plastic grass was suitable. SUCCESS, several times...$OLD! What a steal for a deal less than $8.00 for a Firm graphite shafted club!
I will admit the distance was less than I expected but I BELIEVE it's my slower swing speed & lack of playing for the difference. I was able to get it out there in the fairway a controlled consistent 185-190 yard range for a club that is about 18* degrees of loft.
It will be placed in my primary bag & replace the 2 hybrid based upon course set up & conditions. NOT bad for a club that originally SOLD for over $200 BUCKS, got it for less than $8.00! » Close

I have been playing golf hardcore for about not quite a yr. Am down to the high 70s-mid 80's depending on putting day from the exec tees. The Covert has given me the option to play the tips. I started off with an older 10.5* snake eyes which carried 235 with a fade. Wifey got me a 10 degree Hippo from a garage sale. That one got me up in the 240 carry range with a fade. Last hole one day I hit my friends new Covert and hit an absolute pizz missle. 1 hit and I knew I had to have one. Got it for Father's day and started tinkering. Even at 9.5* I was still getting too much air time. (A problem with my other drivers). I dialed it down to 8.5* and the missles began to launch. I am now carrying 250+ and getting more roll. Last night I averaged all my drives and came up with 262. Had 300 wind assisted, and a 310 no wind help along with my normal 265-270s. 2 230s, 1 into the wind brought the average down. It is an absolute crusher. Haven't been playing long enough to make a comment on "forgiveness", but toe hits stay in the fairway. When I switched drivers I was hoping for 10-15 yds extra. I got 20+ with this thing and once figured out, it goes straight as an arrow. The red may not have been the best choice but I am fine with it. The stock shaft is a little long. I am 6'1" and I choke to halfway on the grip. This is the HAMMER. » Close

They took a little getting used to due to the flat heel but after a couple of holes no problem.
I have been wearing Adidas tour 360's and the Footjoys put them to shame as far as comfort. These are light, comfortable and offer good traction. They are a little pricey but in my opinion worth the money.
I may go back and buy a white pair in the near future » Close

Red is a very cool color, but most importantly is the distance. It is 20 yds longer than my Titleist 910D2. Straight ball mostly. It is adjustable only with face angle....not loft. 55G weighted shaft is excellent for us mid speed swingers (high 80s - low 90s). Sound is often muted, but when it zips down the fairway you wont mind it at all. » Close

I don't like to give products "5 STARS", but this time this product has earned a FIVE star w/me as well as other Caddies on tour!
Are you having trouble reading greens, speed, pace & above all breaks? Your seeing things "differently",you are trusting your playing partners line of putt and don't KNOW if they pulled, pushed or just hit a bad putt?
This little item is NOT a GADGET, it WORKS!!! So simple to use it acts like a handymans "leveler" where it determines how much SLOPE in the form of DEGREES of the green. It also determines if the green is downhill or uphill based upon the degrees. It shows the severity of breaks from 0.0 up to 9.9 degrees!
It is NOT legal to use during tournament play...However we use it during practice rounds to gauge & estimate where certain hole locations will be and practice putting to them.
BTW, little tidbit MAJORITY of people do not know this:
This UNIT/Gadget is used by the USGA & PGA associations to determine HOLE LOCATIONS for all PRO tournaments.
Grant it, hole locations need to be so many paces off the green. BUT the degree of slope plays into where it will be "FAIR" for everyone.
I bought my NEW on E-BAY for such a deal! It'w worth EVERY penny. It comes with a manual to better understand how much a putt breaks based on the range of slope. It also comes with a handy pouch for protection & a DVD tutorial as well. Very informative!
To operate, press the button it has an automatic shut off but does give you ample time to place down on the green & see the degrees of slope etc...
It's a GREAT tool to use when practice putting as well! In a short amount of time just using this unit, you will find your eyes or green reading ability greatly improve. So much that you can judge from degree to degree even as minute as it may be (ex: 1* - 3*) We all can tell what 4 degree of slope is just by looking & seeing the green.
Battery life? I don't know how I can measure this,I plan on having back up batteries available just like I do with my Laser. » Close
