First time I tried the Duo I picked up a blemished pack at Roger Dunn. I was playing Wilson's LX Distance ball. With the Duo, I like the soft feel and distance off the club face, I get great distance (for me), and I like the better feel around the green. I'm a mid handicapper and I am very happy with these balls. At RD, they were under $10 and if I had known how much I would like them, I would have stocked up. It's hard to find them for under $19 and change, although I would submit that is still half the price of the premium balls to which I think these are comparable. » Close

I was looking for mid-handicapper-appropriate clubs to replace my 30 year old Executives. I had problems with the look of a lot of contemporary clubs: heads that looked like hybrids or thick toplines with a lot of technology showing in the back. For me, the Ci7 has a cleaner, more classic look that doesn't get in the way visually. It doesn't hurt that it's a classy looking club in the bag also. The basic set comes 4-GW -- without a 3-iron, but adding the gap wedge. Like all newer clubs, they were flighted a step down from my old clubs. I find the 4-iron flights about the same as my old 3-iron. All of the clubs hit one club further. My old 150 yd club was my 7, in this set it's my 8, 100 yds was PW, now it's GW, and so on through the set. The clubs give solid distance -- surprisingly so on mis-hits. Ball really pops off the face and still provides some workability and feedback despite the forgiveness. Paddy Harrington is a Wilson player and in one promo, he bemoans not being a 10-handicapper so he could use them because he liked the results so much. Well, when he won the PGA he had the higher level clubs in his bag, but had replaced the 3 and 4 irons with Ci7's -- so apparently he meant it. It suggests a club good enough for a mid handicapper who looks to improve and still have relevent equipment. At $499.00 retail, the set was $330-$500 less than comparable clubs I was considering. I tried and purchased them at a demo day where I was also fitted and got a discount, so final price, tax and all, was about $480. They don't get the advertising of some others, but these clubs are a solid buy. I'm very happy with them. Broke 80 for the first time a couple of months ago with them. Because everyone is different, I don't suggest buying these or any clubs without trying them out on a range for a real sense of how they hit, but do try them. » Close

I usualy walk and finding shoes that can be comfortable for 18 holes can tricky. When I purchased my Paragons, I tried several other higher-end shoes in the process, including , Nikes, Callaways, and Addidas own Tour 360 II and Powerbands. These won out as definitely most comfortable. I wore them around the house one afternoon to break them in and experienced no hot spots. I've since worn them to walk 18 numerous times, sometimes on hilly courses, and they have been comfortable throughout while providing good support and traction. They are also light. I was willing to pay more, but these were the best choice, which works out well for the wallet. I think the black/white contrast looks sharp and I've received compliments on them, but I rated appearance a little lower in consideration of the fact that some golfers just prefer a more classic looking or non-athletic shoe. If you walk, just like comfort in your golf shoes, or can't afford the higher end, check these out and see how they work for you. » Close
