Received this in the mail last week, a gift for Father's Day. I cannot be more happier. Been reading reviews on other sites regarding this which were not so favorable and I had my misgivings (more buyer's remorse) but that all changed when I received it and read the instructions.

1. It's easy to use.
2. It gave some easy tips to get accurate consistent readings every time.

I can only guess why others think so poorly. For me it worked fabulously. The closer to the pin I got the better and quicker the reading as should be understood. If you do not have a steady hand then leverage it on top of your golf bag and get a reading that way. Or wait for the group ahead to show on the green and get a reading off one of the players. It's that simple. I can honestly say that this unit saved me at least 3-5 strokes easily. Knowing distance and then envisioning a shot makes using this little beauty a joy. You can approach each shot with new found confidence. It will by no means improve your golf swing but it will help you from making costly mistakes around the golf course. » Close
