I won this Driver as a prize for a skin in the GK outing at Mt. Woodson last year. I didn't know what to make of it at first. It was a weighted driver with sand in it. When I got back home I unwrapped the driver and read the instructions. I also went to the companies web site to get a training video that comes with the driver. The video was 2-3 minutes long. It was very useful showing you a sequence of swings to make with the club, giving you a golf fitness routine.

I took it to the practice range a few times to hit balls with it. After hitting a few shots with it, I started to get the hang of it. The club has a weak shaft in it. It will accentuate a hook or slice. What I liked about it was if you made a good swing, it helped you groove your tempo. With good tempo, I could square the face. Then the shot would come off straight.

Over the last six months I loaned the club to my friend who has a fitness center. A lot of golfers train there and I wanted to get others feedback. The reaction has been positive. 6-8 guys swing it now. They feel as do I that it does increase your strength and flexibility. I felt it most in my wrists and forearms. Can I say I'm now longer off the tee? Perhaps. But, I didn't do any kind of before & after. test. » Close

I won a dozen of these in a tournament recently. Since they are as expensive as a box of ProV1's, I thought they would they would be pretty good. But, I was wrong. These balls did the opposite of what they advertise. I didn't hit them any further and I did sacrifice feel & control. I could hold the green with an iron shot. I couldn't check a pitch or chip that well. It had a firm feel coming off my putter. I'm giving away the other sleeves. » Close

I did a club fitting for new woods using the trackman computer fitting system. I hit all the top 5 brand name clubs. After we found the right shaft and loft for the club head. (9 degree Draw bias, stiff shaft). This club outperformed all others. Even some slightly off center and high on the face shots still got out there well. My numbers for launch angle and spin rate were the best for this club over any others. Now that i have played with it a while, I have gotten 20-30 yards more length without sacrificing accuracy. My recommendation is to go through a club fitting to find what is the right club for you. » Close
