For years, I was always the furthest off the tee (TaylorMade Titanium Driver with the bubbleshaft) when playing my friends. But a couple of years ago I began to notice that I was being passed up on a regular basis. I had club envy but was reluctant to change because my driver was straight and steady 265 to 280 down the middle. Then, during a tourney, a guy in our foursome had the 2009 Burner. I asked to try it out and crushed it like never before. I played it for four holes and it was love at first sight. I bought it the next week for a mere $149.
