I played with the covert performance last year and really liked the driver. I will say for me that the driver last year was much better once you replaced the stock shaft. I went with a lighter and higher launching shaft. I really wanted to try the Tour 2.0 so I tried it out at RD but was worried that my SS at 89 to 92 was too slow. Well with the stock shaft it was. It was terrible. I took my driver in with me and put my shaft on it and this driver came alive. I am now staying up to or actually out driving two of the guys in my foursome. Give this driver a try, but really suggest putting a shaft in that you know you like. And I have it set at 11.5 neutral. » Close

I bought this driver in Feb when it 1st came out. Used it for 2 rounds at 10.5 degree and neutral setting. I thought the ball launch was too low and was getting crap from my playing partners about buying it. They were using R1 and were really long and straight, so I traded the Covert in for a R1. Got fitted and everything, they put me at 12 degree. I hit the R1 terrible even at 12 degree so I started to think back about the Covert. I remembered I did hit it straight, just very low, so I bought a 2nd one and adjusted it to 11.5 degree, neutral. Wow what a difference. Nice ball flight, and STRAIGHT, and now I am right there with my partner in length, this is long. The only time you miss the fairway is when you hit it bad. If you want a VERY straight club off the tee, then give this a try but take the loft up to 11.5 Don't think you have to be macho and use 9.5 or 10.5 it really works.The other thing I did was cut the shaft down to 45" since I am only 5'8" Wow did that make a difference Also read up and consider the shaft length. The 45" length is the same as the 910D2 that I was using and I hit that fairly well, just not nearly as straight as the Covert. I highly recomend this the Covert. » Close

I decided to buy 2 strong fairway woods (This and see my Tour Edge Review) to use off the tee as I struggle with the driver. I bought this is a 13.5 degree loft and the went to a C2 setting. This actually changed it to 12.75 degree. This club worked great off he tee. Had a real nice little draw and was long. I actually out drove my buddies on 2 holes and they were using drivers. If you don't use your 3 wood off the fairway much or at all and sometimes struggle with the driver, I recommend carrying one of these 2 strong fairway woods for an alternative off the tee. » Close
