I used these for the first time last weekend. Really loved the "T" portion of the product. Got a consistent tee height, and it was very durable. I usually break 9-10 tees per round and this one lasted the entire round. Will definately help me keep the "clutter" out of my pocket which is always a good thing. The divot repair portion didn't work quite as well. It's a little more flexible than a regular metal divot repair tool, and this made it more difficult to repair divots. But I'm very happy with the "tee" portion. This means that I should be down to just 2 items in my pocket during a round . . 1 "SmarTee" and 1 divot repair tool. That's a positive! as opposed to carrying around 4-5 tees and a divot repair tool. Should make my pockets last a heckuva lot longer! » Close

I read this book a couple of years ago . . what a great read. I've always like Feinstein . . he's written some great basketball books, and always does a massive amount of research before writing. This really opened my eyes to the personal stories of some of these golfers trying to make it to the tour. Young guns, and old guys trying to get back . . I'd recommend this book to anyone who follows the tour on a regular basis and wants some good back stories about those guys we see in the final pairing on Sunday afternoons. » Close

I picked up an FT-5 at a used sporting goods store last week for a trial. I'll be keeping it! I used it for the first time this weekend, and loved it. They had a 10* draw model there, and since I fight a fade anyway . . and have been wanting to try a draw bias clubface I figured what the heck. Glad I did. This straightened out my drives on every hole but 1 . . and added considerable distance. I didn't measure my drives, but it was a course I play pretty regularly, and I was a good 20-30 yards ahead of where my drives normally play from. I couldn't argue with the price . . about 1/3 of what new costs, and the appearance is great. The sound took a little bit of getting used to . .it's more of a klack than a ting which I got with my old driver. But when they're hit . . they're HIT! I loved my initial experience with this driver. » Close

Got an SG4 from my wife for Christmas. I've had the chance to use it twice so far . . both times on courses that had GPS in the carts. I struggled with the download information originally. Had to call tech support to get the unit registered and get help downloading courses. I'm not a computer savvy guy by any stretch of the imagination, so there were some settings in my home computer that had to be changed to allow the SG4 to communicate with my computer. Tech support was very helpful and once those issues were solved the download process was very easy and quick. The first course I played (Canoa Ranch) had some differences in their yardages and the SG4 yardages . . not significant, about 4-9 yards per hole/pin. So I questioned the accuracy of the unit. The next course I played (Az National) was dead-on with the SG4 yardages, so now I have to question those in the CR GPS system. The information provided by the SG4 was fantastic. I stayed out of trouble on several holes because of the "end of fairway" information provided. The SG4 allows me to change views of obstacles ahead which is nice. The only thing lacking (in my opinion) is an entire hole view from the tee box. Maybe it's available and I haven't found it . . but I think not. I really like this unit, and am really looking forward to using it on courses that I haven't played before. I suspect it will keep me out of a lot of trouble there! I can't comment on the price since it was a gift, but if staying out of trouble is worth anything . . it's priceless! » Close
