I had to try this ball and yes it does help with keeping the ball straighter. It will not be a cure all but with so much less side spin I was able to get a longer and straighter tee shot. I will keep using this ball it is a winner.

There is plenty of grip on the palm and thumb area, and a mix of great feel and durability.
