Currently, as of October 2017, the course is going through some growing pains with a new owner and continued water issues. I am totally concerned that there has not been a decent review rating for this course for many years. It was February 2014 the last time this course saw a rating above 8.0. ...

The red and white marker you see in the fairway is 100 yards to an elevated green. I agree with the mid to long iron into the fairway idea. However, if you feel punchy you can go for the green with a towering draw working it right to left about 250 yards from the white tees. Maybe you can stick one close. Beware of the traps guarding the front slope to the green.

Scoreable closing hole if you drive it well. I like cutting a little off the right side off the tee - over the left edge of that last oak with a draw leaves you with a great angle to the green. A good drive and you have to go for it.... On the approach there's water tight on the right - there's actually a fair amount of room to miss left. Up and down for a bird perhaps - just watch for back pins as the green slopes more severely back towards you and to the pond when the hole is back there..
