This course is a nightmare! If you're a beginner, and can't hit anything straight, feel free to drop down your $15 twilight fee and have a good time. Otherwise, plan for crooked starters, rude marshalls, and terrible playing conditions. Drive the extra 20 minutes and play Victoria or Los Verdes. It's nearly the same price and ten-times as nice!!!

An 'ok' course, a couple of interesting holes, most greens elevated. Good etiquette from fellow golfers and friendly customer service both hard to find at this course. Anytime the best parking spots are reserved for management you know customer service is not one of their concerns. Cut-off denim shorts or tank tops are not banned, but evidently divot tools are. Play this course as a last resort and remember to lock your car door.

I have played this course many many times since 1983. It is not far for me. If you have a drive of more than 20 minutes don't bother with Alondra. This course has served such a large population for so many years that with all the money they make it is a shame that they can't maintain decent greens. It is very rare that the greens are even close to good condition. Alondra has a flat, plain layout and look. Elevated greens add some difficulty to this wide open course. Not many hazards here make it a good course for a beginner golfer.

If you are trying to get a early start or late twilight round go somewhere else. I have encountered a ninesome, a lady sneaking on the course while i was teeing off, a starter that tried to pocket my change and a marshall that harasses everyone to get off the course before the sun goes down.
