$28 To walk Weekends. I was suprised how fast we played. I think weather had a factor but course did move quickly. Groups ahead kept very brisk pace. Only time we caught up with them was on back 9. Group behind was behind us be we were a walking 4-some and fast at that. I highly doubt they were complaining. Course is in good shape since aerification. Give one more week for bumpiness to go away and greens should be very nice indeed. Balls do stick well though considering. Fairways are lush. Some waste areas there are not marked off so they do come into play. Staff was very friendly. Their goal it seemed was to get you out ASAP which was the case for this single walk-on. Sand was agreeable. Tee boxes were a little on the uneven side and you can tell. Overall this is a vanilla course. What you see is what you get -- no suprises. Would have nicer if they place tees further back for weekend and rotate them forward during the week. Otherwise how can you complain when you could have finished a round in 4-4 1/2 hours?

I have been playing Alondra for the past five years and the condition of the course is at an all time low. I realize this is a county public course but the concition is awful. All the other LA County Courses put this to shame. Do not throw your money away.

I seldom play here, and after over 5 1/2 hours of hit and wait, I remember why. And it isn't just the grueling wait, the course is in just not very good shape! Lots of weeks, bare spots, etc. I tried ... Continue »

I seldom play here, and after over 5 1/2 hours of hit and wait, I remember why. And it isn't just the grueling wait, the course is in just not very good shape! Lots of weeks, bare spots, etc. I tried to be kind with my rating, because of the severe winter, but I suspect that if I came back during the summer. (which I won't!) it will not be much better. Rather than complain, I think it's just better to stay away for maybe another 10 years, which is how long it's been since I last here.

This course is very scary when it is crowded...watch and listen for balls coming your way from other tees/fairways. I played here once and will never play it again...

Course is in good shape. Tee boxes have some issue about being flat but remember you don't have to always hit from the markers to find a flat spot. Fairways were green and lush. Rough around greens... Continue »

Course is in good shape. Tee boxes have some issue about being flat but remember you don't have to always hit from the markers to find a flat spot. Fairways were green and lush. Rough around greens were fluffy and took a lot out of high shots. St. Augustine grass was brutal as it grabbed both club and ball. Traps had plenty of sand. Greens were a little bumpy but still good enough for this cow pasture. You get what you see on this course with no suprises. Not bad for a walk on at around 8:30. Waited only 30 mins to get onto green.

I played here for the first time last week. A great course with NO water. Wow. That was nice. A lot of trees and fairly flat but challenging.

I played here for the first time last week. A great course with NO water. Wow. That was nice. A lot of trees and fairly flat but challenging.
I enjoyed my round along with 4 of my golfing friends and I will be back.
