Played in a charity event on Sat. All I want to say is if I paid $180 rack rate I would have been mad at the conditions.

The fairways were a mix of brown and green grass, some bare areas, but the worst was they must not have been mowed in at least a week. So many different lengths depending on where you ended up in the fairway; it truly was a crapshoot. Rough was not much different. The marshal said that in the last 2 weeks the course really went brown. They do water the heck out of it, as there were muddy spots here and there. Sand traps seemed decent, but we were in a scramble, so we did not play from them. Greens were the highlight as they were lush and soft, rolling at a medium pace. Not too many ball marks either.

Staff were very friendly and really helped run a 120-person shotgun. Bev carts came around at least 4 times, Water coolers were abundantly available, and the carts were good with a nice GPS.

For the rate they charge its hard to swallow the conditions right now. Course needs a mow at least.
