Payed $30 through golf now for a Saturday round at 11am which is a steal for this course. Even though summer is officially here, Indian Canyons South is in excellent shape. It's a beautiful course that doesn't beat you up. I highly recommend this track for anyone visiting our Coachella Valley.

Strong layout in a beautiful setting, no wind, and outstanding customer service!

This course much easier than the north one. Large greens, wide fairways and little wind make this an excellent place for a high handicapper or beginner. Only a few holes tighten up a bit on the back. There are many bunkers and some water that come in play if you are not careful. Everything is in great shape. The rough and fairways get a 9! A mid to low handicapper would probably get bored here. Even if you go birdie birdie birdie birdie ...nooot

I play this every chance I get - it's just around the corner for me. The Indian nation that owns this course take pride in its appearance, condition, and treatment of guests. The clubhouse meals are over the top. When the wind is blowing in the Coachella Valley, go here. It's almost windless.

Mywife and I played it twice last week (May 10 and 12) and always find it fun and beautiful. Not the most challenging course but fun to play for both high and low handicappers. The mountains are absolutely beautiful and the staff are always friendly. Nice spot for breakfast and lunch also. Highly recommended.

First time playing at Indian Canyons on 12/21/09 and was extremely impressed. The customer service was BY FAR the best that anyone in our group had experienced. From the parking lot, to the pro shop, to the cart service this course has it figured out! The golf course itself was in exceptional condition, pace of play was great, and price was very appropriate for "in-season". Course was appropriate for a resort... scenic, fair, well-maintained, and not obscenely difficult. We had an excellent trip to the desert thanks to the team at Indian Canyons South - put this one on your list of places to play.

We booked our 9:00 tee time through standbygolf.com for $74 per player. This was the only round we played that we had to pay for range balls.

We booked our 9:00 tee time through standbygolf.com for $74 per player. This was the only round we played that we had to pay for range balls.

WE played 5 other courses on a golf vacation to Palms Springs and compared to them, this course, by far:
1. was the easiest track we played in terms of slope/rating
2. was the greenest, moistest and lushest
3. had the slowest greens (soft and spongy) but smooth and true-ish
4. was the most photogenic with the mountain backdrop

Aside from the slow greens, the course was in amazing condition. We finished in 4 hours and 15 minutes, despite being a twosome sandwiched between two foursomes.

I live in the area and played Indian Canyons South for the first time Sunday morning at 6:30am. The course is in great shape tee to green and every hole looks like a postcard. The surrounding San Jacinto Mountains, beautiful water hazards, and the many California Fan Palms trees make the course absolutely gorgeous. Indian Canyons South is without a doubt the most scenic course in the western Coachella Valley.

The layout is very forgiving for higher handicaps with mostly generous fairways and large greens. Greens are well guarded by sand traps and water comes into play on many holes which keep you honest. It is also relatively short at just under 6000 yds from the whites and 6300 from the blue tees.

I shot my all time low round of 75 today and Indian Canyons South is now my favorite course in the Palm Springs area. I highly recommend this course to those who visit the Palm Springs area.

Played here Sunday during a golf trip with some buddies. Very good course and it is in great shape. Not as windy as some of the Palm Spring area courses can get since this one is right up against the mountains. The mountains do shield you from the wind however we did experience some winds on the last 4 holes. It was a very fun course to play. Kind of neat to play right up against the mountains. I would highly recommend this course. Very good value. Starter (Lou) and management were great!
