Can't beat $19 for a course with this type of design. Check out their website and look under the Special Tee Times link. The course itself was in pretty good shape with the greesn being the only detractor. The course was just opened up after some maintenance which included punching the greens and transitioning to summer grass and the green have just not quite filled in all the way. Because of this, they need to let them grow a little longer than normal which made them pretty slow and bumppy. On the plus side, they are pretty receptive to any decently struck shot.

Great course, play where the pros played. Shot makers course. Greens were great and it was in June in 105 degree heat. Got a two for one deal in the Reddotgolf book. When you play this course you will have a smile on your face on the ride home.

The fairways had too many dry spots. The greens were only ok. They were a little slow. Maybe they let the greens grow more in the hot summers. The layout is wonderful. There is an island green, a blind wedge shot par 3, a tough 232 yard par 3 that is the 2 handicap hole. To bad I did not have time to play the south course. "I'll be back" "I think this guy is a couple cans short of a six pack" He is as governor of this state that is for sure!

Played both North and South Courses 5/21/09 tremendous value only $39 each. Course is in excellent shape except for #1 fairways on both courses but the excellent staff there warned us ahead of time. Greens were perfect and the north course is a great challenge.

Played in the afternoon. Very windy but worth every minute. This couse is fun to play and well kept. Staff courteous, even after a tournament had played earlier that morning. Well worth it.

Played in the early afternoon on 5/3/09. Very windy but the course still played very well. Greens were in excellent shape as were the fairways. A tournament had played early that morning and the staff were still able to keep the play moving at a good pace. Very friendly staff.

Play both North and South many times. It is fun, challenging, great greens, but they continue to have a problem with drainage on many holes/fairways. Doesn't matter what time of year. They always charge more for North than South, and in the past the North was always in better shape than South, but right now South is in better shape than North. They always have some email specials so sign up and there are discounts. People at the front desk are nice but typically take forever to do one transaction so get their in enough time. They do have great practice facilities.

Played the North Course on Sunday at 2pm (twilight resident rate) and barely finished 18 as darkess set in at 6pm.

Played the North Course on Sunday at 2pm (twilight resident rate) and barely finished 18 as darkess set in at 6pm.

Terra Lago is an excellent golf facility. The clubhouse and practice facilities are first rate and the both the North and South courses are challenging, scenic, and fun to play. The North Course has spectacular views of the Chocolate Mountains and the Coachella Valley floor. The use of the All American Canal as a water hazard adds to the experience. My only gripe is that there was no cart service on a busy Sunday afternoon.

I highly recommnend Terra Lago to visitors and residents of our beautiful Coachella Valley.

The North course at Terra Lago is a great challenge. Greens were in good shape. Very friendly staff, help with getting the best rate. They have resident programs which you can just bring in your utility bill to get a good rate. Holes 14,15, and 18 are great holes. Front side plays hard, tight landing areas.
