It wasn't at all worth the money. I figured that it was out in La Quinta and it would be a nice course with a nice La Quinta style clubhouse, but when I got there the clubhouse was some kind of retro style and it really didn't fit. Went to the range before playing and when I got back my cart was gone...I told the starter that someone took my cart and all he did was point. I went to the cart and coffee was spilt all over my cellphone..kind of sucked. The range was kind of hacked up also.
I started playing and was paired up with an older gentelman and a wife and her husband..also older. Had to play the same teebox as them because I didn't want this to be a 6 hour round...but it was close. They were very nice though, but it was a rather short course now.
The course was ok, but nothing great. The greens were very good looking and looked very fast, but were very slow....need to know were the Salt n Sea is though. The tee boxes were kind of hacked up and also with some of the fairways. To make a long story short....I WASTED MY $$$!!!

Got on for $70.00 which seemed about fair. Nice course buy did not live up to its LG Skins rep... I dont think I would pay over $100.00 to play it... Noticed that there is really no memorable holes.... Continue »

The layout was not that impressive, All the holes just kind of look the same to me. I guess I am getting in a desert golf rut. time to head back to the IE.

Other than that, the course is well maintained and the pace of play is usually good. The layout is interesting, challenging, but fair. Try to play this course at around the 50 to 60 $ level.

P;ayed Trilogy on 7/9/07 and was disappointed with the quality of the greens. Mowed down low and dime size yellow spots on virtually all of the greens. Greens were bumpy and not rolling as a 10 on the stimpmeter as listed on pro shop counter. More like an 8.
Got a discounted rate of $46 off the PS teetimes and thought that was too much. This week they're advertising a $19 rate after 10am for some teetimes.
Holes 17 & 18 were the most exciting holes on the course. Easy course
for the PGA Pros. Frankly, I was disappointed with the product.

For those that say the desert conditions are the same everyday--they need to travel to the Coachella Valley.

Played Trilogy in the last week in March on three different days with three different types of conditions. First day, overcast, breezy with "showers" late in our round and temps in the mid to high 60's. 2nd day was sunny, no breeze and low 90's. 3rd day was overcast, slight breeze and 85.

Course is well laid out with no hidden shots. 5 sets of tees give all handicaps ample chance to match tee with skill level. Fairways very well marked with distances, making a GPS not necessary. Six sets of hole lacations allows for good variety on approaches.

Quality of course is first rate all around. There were not many "bare" spots and no ground under repair locations that I can remember. Greens were at about an 11 and approaches held very well when put in proper spot. Although there is a 55+ community of homes surrounding about 70% of the course, there is ample space around the course without feeling boxed in. Also, most holes give an independent feeling. Unlike courses like Cimarron and Mesquite where everyone is in everyone elses business, Trilogy, like most quality courses gives one the impression that they are playing golf in solitude.

Customer service was first rate. Ice coolers provided on each cart. Also, get to course early and take advantage of ample practice facilities. On a side note, if you like reggae music, the course sound system seems to have tapped into the all reggae station to keep you loose.
