Played here today 11:15, They sent not one but two fivesomes off in front of us, one group was in jeans and tennis shoes, so you can see how the day started. We played the blacks and it is a lot of golf course from back there. Greens are very fast yet still holding shots well. They are drying them out for the weekend special (Thurs-Sun, anyone who makes it through a round without 3 putting will recieve a free round.) This place has so many blind shots and Blind carries without much help on the card. The range was closed, so no warm-up. Just a little too quirky of a layout. 1 or 2 blind shots in a round is fine but 7 or 8 just gets old and frustrating. Was not feeling the love today. There are too many other courses in the area just as nice or better that I can go low on and have fun doing it. Too much work here. Well at least I can check this one off my list. Next up Trilogy or Oak Quarry

Played here on Sunday 1-11, Place is a beautiful resort course with a great practice facility and clubhouse. The golf course was in super condition and it was an 80* January day in Palm Desert. What more could you ask for. Greens were true and fast, fairways lush, the ones I hit anyway. The golf during the high season is just expensive $110 I played here in August for 22 bucks on golfnow. For $90 I can deal with a little heat. It's a dry heat right. Fun layout, pretty standard desert course.
Played here on 12-30 10:00am, very busy and stacked up real quick on #2 Tee but after the first few holes it opened up a bit. The course is in fair shape it is kikuya and it is pretty thin. The greens were tough to figure out they were lightning fast coming downhill, and bumpy as all get out. tough to get anything to stay on line. Tee boxes were a bit chewed up. and fairways still a little wet, so not a lot of roll. But it is a short course.
Played here Friday 26th, Course has really come a long way from where it was last summer. Greens were good. Faiways a little wet from the rain still, But this is a great Pete Dye design and has a wonderful layout. The Head Pro Tom is a great guy. I played in his group today. By Spring this place is going to be in the shape it used to be.
Played today around 11:00 am, Cart path only and range was closed. Still pretty soggy from the rains, Played extra long from the Blacks. Great layout nice course, the greens were in fantastic shape, still very quick for all the moisture that was in them. Caught this place on golfnow for 15 bucks felt like I robbed them, so I bought some stuff in the Pro shop/clubhouse, Beautiful facility will definately be back to settle the score with that back nine.
Played over thanksgiving weekend. This course is always in great shape, vey lush and green. The greens were quick and rolled nicely. Pace of play however was a problem, holiday weekend and all. We had a 12:54 tee time, actually got out at about 1:15 and made it through 12 holes before darkness set in. Nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Vegas, plus it is dirt cheap for this caliber of golf course. I will always play here when I am out this way.
Played today @2:00p finished in three hours. Greens in good shape smooth and rolled true, fairways nice and tight rough was long and thick, Nice course, Actually was better than I expected. I wasn't expecting much. well thats another one to check off. next up Diamond Valley or Soboba
I played here yesterday, 11:15 tee off. Place is in very good condition. I don't know why it gets so much bad pub. I think it is a great course. The greens were in great shape I had a bunch of putts fall in from 10' range. The setup is good there are risk/reward type holes where you can go for the green in two on par 5's and reachable par 4's. we played 27 holes and finished right at dusk. The only thing they are missing is a driving range, clubhouse, pro shop...
I really do not want to sound like a jerk that never has anything good to say about a golf course. But it has been a while since I have played a decent track. Sure they tell you it was just reseeded and is in great shape, the greens were probably about a 5 on the stimp, my tifgreen bermuda backyard is probably faster. There are bare spots everywhere it was cart path only, I drove in to the rough at one point to look for a ball, and had the members (ie:the old people that live along the fairways and have no life but to sit at their windows phone in hand and watch for infractions?) calling the pro shop on me, saying I was driving all over the fairways. They sent a marshall out to tell me if any members call in saying that I am driving in the fairways again they would ask me to leave. Well you can have this Sh%# hole. I will never be back. I did shoot 82 thanks to a 38 on the back, and leaving 17/18 putts short just could not hit it hard enough. Ok I feel better. Maybe Goose Creek or Hidden Valley, or Eagle Glen up next. Hit em straight
Overseeding has come around, everything is super lush. The greens are the best I have ever seen them. This course plays long. Still a few wet spots hanging around. But it is by far in the best shape I have seen it in a while. This course is up for sale my fingers are crossed.
Best overall course condition in the valley. Greens are the best around, fast, true and firm. The only negative thing I can say about this place is the sand traps are full of rocks and not a whole lot of sand. You have got to play here at least once.
Well I picked a bad day to play here. Yes they are overseeding the sprinklers are on all day, cart path only, it is $35.00 unlimited play all day. The place is absolutely sopping wet, ball after ball plugged, splash shots from the fairways and the place is packed with juniors(I mean 6 and 7 year olds) out with dad carrying there snoopy golf bag around a 7000 yard monster that plays tough when it's dry. Also brought out the weekend hacks. People without any golf etiquette walking through sand traps to get to there ball? lovely time. I am not giving up on this place, hope the new owners don't either.
