Played for first time since re-opening. Just as nice as before maybe better! My first full round of golf in 8 mos. due to back problems. Beauty of this facility made me forget it all and re-interest my love of golf. Conditions are immaculate! Greens smooth as silk!! Clubhouse is art deco and superb. Obvious night time stripper as a cart girl adds that extra touch!! $45 for a Sat tee time on golf now!

The putting green was in bad shape but the greens on the course were very good. Good experience overall and I would go back.

Played Friday morning as a single and was paired with two great guys from Canada. Escena is in excellent condition tee to green and it really is a beautiful golf course. I believe that Escena has 99 bunkers and I found about 8 of them. Those traps cost me a few strokes today but I still had an enjoyable round and will be back soon. The par 3's are generally long and difficult. Lots of variety with water coming into play on a few of the par 4 and par 5 holes. Most fairways have generous landing areas and the greens are good sized (but many have tiers and can be tricky). If I can figure out how to avoid the numerous and well placed bunkers I'd probably enjoy my rounds at Escena even more.

as well, i had the pleasure of sharing the experience this time with my dad. we laughed on the first fairway when he sarcastically remarked, "are we playing everything down?" there is not a bad lye on this course. even in the rough, the grass is so dense, the ball stands up.

golfnow.com offers good discounts but the course is actually pretty cheap already for a P.S. course.

please play this course if you haven't. it's so worth it.

Played Escena for the first time since they reopend. The course in perfect shape! The clubhouse looks great, the customer service is good, and the cart girl is pretty.

This Nicklaus design has a couple of long par 3's and water comes into play on a number of holes but Escena doesn't beat you up. Just an enjoyable round of golf in beautiful Palm Springs. I highly recommend Escena to locals and visitors to our Coachella Valley.

A bit pricey even at the current weekday diso c^nt rate of $70, but you sure get what you pay for. Impeccable service from the staff. Get out and play this course before the word gets out!

Played on Friday 11/20 for a small private Tourny before they open. This course is in perfect shape, the club house, the beer cart girl and even the managment was perfect. Everything that is good about golf is at this course. Look out for the long par 3's, Hole 17 was a closest to the pin that nobody reached.
