Escena CC is back in a big way...played on Friday before the opening and it is in PERFECT shape and a pleasure to play...the locals missed this track big time...one of the better Nicklaus courses in the area...ENJOY
WOW...played 3/2/9 and it is in GREAT shape and one of the more beautiful courses in the desert, service is top notch,,and the $$$ are top notch as well. Tough track to score on, played in 4hrs 10 min with a marshall all over the place which is good to see at the rate they charge.
Played 11/308 and the course was in FINE shape and the greens rolling very well. Played 18 in UNDER 3 hrs so you know it was a great day!!
WE played EARLY on Sun 11/2/8 and the course is in FINE shape after the reseed BUT we were the 3rd group off and played in 4 hrs BUT waited on EVERY shot on every hole. We all know what a bummer that is. The marshall claimed he could do nothing because the PACE of play was 8 min ahead. Go figure.
Played 9/20/8, course in NICE shape, service TOP shelf and the food is wonderful.
Played 9/19/8 course in GREAT shape considering time of year. We were the only one out there which made it rather special. Staff was great in all area's.
Played Saturday and were the 1st group off...2.6 hours were finished and the course is in PERFECT shape...Greens were perfect as was everything else...the staff is super as well.
Played Sat 2-16-08 the course is AS GOOD AS IT GETS..greens could not be faster, fairways were perfect, marshals were everywhere, played in 4.4 hours on a late tee time which is NOT bad for a TOUGH course like this. This is a MUST play course in the desert now.
This is ONE of the best you will play in desert. Played 11/30/07 and the course is in GREAT shape, the green were amazing for being BRAND new!!!! You can not go wrong on this place. The city should be VERY proud of this place, they must have spent a fortune!!!
Played on 10/26 the course was busy and had to call starter on 12th tee because of 3groups on tee,MARSHALL came out and got things going again because of SLOW group ahead, very impressed with that!!! Greens were cut in BOTH directions which was very nice and the course was in very good shape. TWO drink ladies out on the course which you rarely see anymore so there was PLENTY of service. For the dollars a very good experience.
Played on Sat July 21,,greens were in BAD shape for this place, traps were NOT maintained and the course all in all is in ROUGH shape
