bobjoe, you’re nuts if you think $84 is too expensive to play this course. I’ve played the Champions many times and agree with all of the previous postings. In fact I played 3/23 and thought the course was in amazing condition. Sure it can get windy out there but where isn’t windy in these parts?

When you travel 2000 miles to play golf you want it to be special. I was not disappointed. Next to the Course at Wente Vineyards it was the most pleasure I have had on a golf course.

By far, one of the top courses from top to bottom in Southern California. The amenities felt like a country club environment. The course we played (Champions) was absolute pristeen. Off the tee the fairways are very generous, however, the greens can be tricky on most approach shots. Not a bad trade-off. The greens were somewhat fast but definitely rolled true and pure. Mother Nature made it challenging with some winds but can't wait to play this course again. On a scale of 1-10, this facility is definitely a 12!!!

Drove 210 miles round trip recently to see for myself what everyone was talking 'bout; glad I did. Played the Champions layout on a Tuesday, just me and the tumbleweeds. Good times.
