great unlimited golf packages from the internet if you are on their list....played 36holes with cart/range balls and lunch for $60...course is in great condition...except for some reason the traps were inconsistent...some were crusty/mud and others dry...greens were a bit bumpy but not too bad.

The golf course obviously needs more time to heal from overseeding. I think they didn't do a really through job overseeding because they are selling this golf course. It was strange that my green fees were free for buying a shirt. I am assuming this is a standard deal since they are trying to get rid of their logo shirts, but it seems backward. I didn't ask any questions since it was such a good deal, but just seems weird. I love the layout at this golf course, and hope that the new owner will put some money in to fix the neglected areas.

Well I picked a bad day to play here. Yes they are overseeding the sprinklers are on all day, cart path only, it is $35.00 unlimited play all day. The place is absolutely sopping wet, ball after ball plugged, splash shots from the fairways and the place is packed with juniors(I mean 6 and 7 year olds) out with dad carrying there snoopy golf bag around a 7000 yard monster that plays tough when it's dry. Also brought out the weekend hacks. People without any golf etiquette walking through sand traps to get to there ball? lovely time. I am not giving up on this place, hope the new owners don't either.

Played today with understanding that it will be cart path only, but fairway was wet, wet, wet, and sprinkler system continue to come on during play, which is not what we were expecting. This is what it says from the email from SCGA "On Sept 26th thru Oct 2nd the course will be roped off and cart paths only to allow for night time watering, while the overseeding of the fairways grow-in!" It should say that you will be playing in a marsh land environment, and should wear water boots instead of golf shoes.

given that i live about 5 minutes away i've probably played this course more than 100 times. i always enjoyed myself, and feel blessed to have a championship layout so close. this is a great neighborhood course with lots of kids, families, work leagues that come out to play here. hopefully if it's sold, the new owners will keep the soul of this place intact. if they change this course it will be a great loss to the local golfing community,

Played Sunday(yesterday) at 8:20am. Where is everyone? Parking lot had 12 cars in it. Had one foursome in front of us, nobody behind us. Had a 2some roll up on us at 16th tee. Place was deserted. Course was very wet, but fairways, tees and greens were decent at best. Went inside to eat and heard that this place is for sale, no buyer yet. Cart girl was inside saying that she only sold 3 beers all day. Guys in pro-shop were cool, but they seemed like they didn't want to be there. No carts allowed to the driving range, you have to be driven down there by a cart guy. By now, everyone knows now that the nines have been reversed. It's really weird and bizarre but they're not changing it back so we have to get used to it. All in all, very surprised that nobody's here on a Sunday morning, but maybe it's the gas prices and the foreclosure capital of the world.....Riverside County that's killing all the golfers. With the impending sale, who knows what the future holds for the SCGA. What once was a bright light in SoCal golf is now dimming fast.

Played on Wednesday, August 20th. I love the user friendliness of the track and usually play it when I need a confidence booster to my game. It is a straight forward layout with not much excitement, but allows for low scores. The greens were very soft, a little bumpy and little slow. Overall, the course condition is what I would expect for the $35 green fee. When I was there, some of the staff was in a panic, as they supposedly sold the course the day I was there. I don't know if there is any truth to that, or if they were over-reacting, but it made the service rather lackluster... Not a bad track, maybe a new owner will put money into the place and improve it...
