As the new course matures it's getting better and better. Enough variation to suit just about anybody. Short - so great for those warm up, getting into shape rounds, or when you are short on time. Generally moves fairly fast. If you join their club you accumulate points for discounts and get awesome specials.

Greens were lightning fast but some seemed to have a fungus as they were patchy. Course layout is interesting.

Played all 27 holes last Friday. Course is in good shape for winter. Its a little dry and some of the fairways are a little hard. Divots are shallow because of it but the rough was much less of a penalty as a result. Greens were brutally fast. I don't know stimp(?) meter stats but a putt that would normally go about 3 feet went 10. Scary!!They have an email deal of $15 with a cart for 18 wkdays and $24 weekends. Well worth the price and no crowds. Played 27 holes in 3.5 hours.

It is a shorter course however it is very challenging. Your shots have to be right on for you to succeed on this course. The wind does play a factor when playing.

Just called for super twilight rates to ride 18 holes on Saturday. Wow..$27. I just played Green Tree last Saturday super twilight for only $19. Why is Ashwood much more?

By far my favorite course in the high desert. Playing for 10 years and when I haven't been out in several months Ashwood is definitly the first course I play. Then I go out to the larger courses after dailing in at Ashwood. Very nice course, decent price, and great practice arena. I'm a 14 handicap but once shot +4 at Ashwood. Very forgiving course. Just watch the windy days. The +4 was on a calm day. Friendly staff.

Perfect weather today and online special was only $ 14 bucks at 9:20 tee time. Greens were fast and in really good shape. F/w's are a lil thin but over-all can't complain. The course was wide open in front of us and thats pretty good considering this is a short course. The staff was very friendly and let us go off early. I kept my driver in the bag for many of holes and played smart golf for once. Great time, nice short course in the high desert, highly recommend if in the area...

greens had been aerated..so still a bit sandy...but was fairly smooth....can i say WINDY.....makes it a challenge....nice to have 3 nines to play...

For a short course it is surprisingly challenging. Sloped greens with goof trap location grab the aggressive types trying to reach par 4's in one. Having no par 5's takes away the chance to make up shots as on most courses. Very good par 3 holes. The conditions keep on getting better. Private conditions at a reasonable price.
