Rode the blues today 1/26/26 with my buddy Matt. We played Ridgeline and then Canyon Crest teeing off at 12pm and finishing around 3:50pm with nobody in front of us. Weather was around 70 degrees with a 10mph wind. Beautiful day. My buddy left after 18 and I stuck around and played Creekside in an hour with nobody in front of me as well chasing the sun. Very friendly starter, pro shop attendant and cartbarn kids. They have a huge putting green, uphill massive range and two private chipping greens for members along with the regular chipping green just to the right of the range. Usually not a lot of golfers here during the week and a peaceful place to practice.

Greens were in great shape. I always putt these greens well. Love them. Bent greens that were rolling pure and quick close to an 11 on the stimp. Also holding shots softly. Backed up a couple wedges today. Rated 9/10.

Fairways were nicely padded and looked like they drained well from the rains. Lots of divots in most Fairways but the carts had 3 sandbottles to fill in divots. Rated 8/10

Rough was low and just a little longer than the fairways and in decent shape. Rated 7/10

Most tees were level and in good shape. Rated 7.5/10

Was in 2 Fairway bunkers and 2 greenside bunkers for 27 holes and they were all raked, contained just the right amount of brown sand and were in good shape. Rated 7/10.

Love all 3 9s here. Moorpark gives you plenty of scoring holes yet is a demanding test, which I think makes a perfect golf course design.
