I played the course on 4/2 and was put into a 4 ball with 3 ladies from Texas also on vacation. They were great fun.

The wind was very gusty at times and the course played a good bit longer due to this, but the condition was amazing and the greens were fantasic, very true and quick. Each hole has a little feature on the GPS screen that allows Jack to give you some tips on how to play the hole your on.

The guys in the shop were very friendly and welcoming and interested in chatting about Rory Mcllroy since i'm from the same area !!

All the way around the pace was good until the 14th hole when strangely two 3 balls joined to make a 6 ball.

They were slow and chatting and zipping about all over the fairways, I did mention it at the end ro the guy collecting the cart he couldn't say sorry enough.

Despite this annoyance it was a great experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting to take on the Bear.

I can't really put my finger on it but I really enjoy golfing here. There isn't 1 specific thing that i can point out that is great but overall, this course is top notch. Its a right mix of great condition, and great layout. Guy working behind the counter could use some lessons on being little more friendly. Act like he didn't want none members to be there. Starter was very friendly and accommodating so that made up. Regular green fee here is stiff but I usually get on for $100 to $125 and at that price, its well worth it for me. Comparable in quality as Bali Hai IMO.

I have played Rio Secco,Pauite all 3 courses, Siena, Primm both courses,Silverstone, and a couple minicipal courses. Bears Best is hands down my Favorite...Great Customer Service, Great GPS,Great conditions. Just an overall great place to play...Def a must if you are in the Vegas Valley!!!

Played 7/24.. tee'd off at 650am. Service was great, but he course is awesome. A lot of fun and very unique. What a kick to play copies of some of Jack's fav. holes in the west. Greens recovered well from being punched two weeks ago. A must play for the Vegas area.

Played for first time 7/5/10. Instantly one of my favorites in Vegas. Customer Service is great. Two friendly staff members met me at bag drop and great service continued throughout. Course, which is a collection of Jack's favorite holes from western states courses, was in great shape. Good variety of holes, generous fairways, and smooth greens. Greens, with most in Vegas from my experience, are tricky to read at times, but rolled nicely. Give it a try, price tag is a little to high at prime time, but to ensure better conditions (low wind) try to play early in the day.

This is one of the best courses I have ever played.

The GPS is superior to any other GPS I have ever seen. It is a big(full) screen 8"X16", with EVERY detail of the course in full color. Tee box throught the green is perfect. Fairways have great shape, rough is med-long but playable. Greens are smooth and roll very true. Sand traps have perfect sand, and their are some holes with BLACK sand, what a beautiful site.
This is a must play course, when in L.V., I will be back!!

No real changes here. Played 1st week of January. Staff courteous (MUCH better starter this time), conditions wonderful. I had an early tee-time, and after a short frost delay, found the first few greens so hard I couldn't repair them. Frozen or just rock hard, I dunno. Once it warmed up, it was a treat.
I still don't think this is a $250 course, but with a coupon or discount or group outing, certainly a good track.
