Played Scotch Pines today in a scramble format tournament with a shotgun start at 10am. Check in was easy and smooth the staff were very friendly and the cart was comfortable with plenty of power. The course has some beautiful views of the mountains north and East of Payette Idaho. The course was extremely enjoyable with tree lined fairways many elevation changes. Definitely have to place your drives properly with many doglegs both left and right to keep the trees out of play. For long hitters you need to be in the fairways to take advantage with a mix of short, medium and long par 4s. Most of the par 5s are reachable in two for long hitters if you keep your drives out of the trees.

The tee boxes had a few holes with divot damage but were mainly in good to very good condition. The fairways and rough were lush and reasonably easy to hit from leaving divots which we all replaced. Sand traps were in good condition and reasonably soft to hit from. Most greens were soft playing at a medium speed. A few were a little bumpy from being punched two weeks earlier. I loved the course and will definitely play this course again!

It is in Payette Idaho approximately 1 hour west of Boise. I feel the course is worth the drive if you are in the area!
