It has been a few months since I last played here. The fairways were very thin with many bare areas. Traps were excellent! Greens were "hit & miss" some good, some not so good. Staff was great - first off so pace of play was not an issue (2hrs 3 min)

Played on Monday following the 4th of July. It was considered a holiday and the course was crowded. Pleasently and surprisngly played in 4 1/2 hours. The marshall showed up on 15 to push us a little. No problem, since we fell a little behind (we had a tough hole).
The green side bunkers were horrible. Most of them were filled with water (IN JULY?). When they weren't filled with water, they were wet. The greens were also terrible. Bare divot spots all over the greens. These divot marks were days old and they left little pot holes all over the greens.
I've played this course over 10 times in the past few years and this is worst I've ever seen it.

Typical weekend afternoon round today, with tee times only 8 minutes apart, by noon it's always backed up. Front 9 took more than 3 hours to play and back 9 was no better - 2 players on our foursome ... Continue »

Typical weekend afternoon round today, with tee times only 8 minutes apart, by noon it's always backed up. Front 9 took more than 3 hours to play and back 9 was no better - 2 players on our foursome walked off after 9 and I finally had to leave after 14 - nearly 5 hours since we teed off. Reminds me why I haven't played a weekend afternoon round here in years...Course was at least in good overall condition.

Played Tijeras Thursday and Friday this week. Course is in good shape. Greens are getting faster. There are still a few bumps on them and a few rough areas but very improved over the last couple of months. If the neighbors would just stay off the front 9 at night and quite hitting pitch shots into the greens they would be much better.

Love the layout and the customer service is best around. Dawn, Nicole and Amy are the best bev cart girls anywhere.

Played Sunday, May 16. Decent pace for a Sunday. Good customer service. Fairways were hard so lots of roll. Some of the greens were incredibly lumpy but I've always found the greens here to be many times suspect at best. Especially 17. Like putting on grandma's thighs! Traps were in great condition. It's a good value.

This is one gem of a golf course and a great value. There was 4 or 5 holes in a row in the front side that were beautiful and challenging at the same time. I enjoyed the different tee shots that were required and thought the par 3's were easy to double bogey on. Pace of play was good (not a weekend) and the cart girl was frequent.

Just an underrated golf challenge that does not have a big name or big price. I would highly recommend.

Played the Creek on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in just over 5 hours. Found the course to be in very good condition from tee to green (still a small amount of sand visible on the greens but rolling true) and well worth the drive. Staff courteous, grass range, good food, wildlife abound ... it don't get better than that. Great layout and always a challenge, purchase a Creek Card to save some $$$.
