Country Club is definitely a misnomer for this course. This would probably be a country club type course in latin america or SE asia, but not here.

Thought the course played wonderfully for the price we paid (75 per player in a tournament - for a good cause), they should seriously consider changing the name to Palm Desert Municipal Course. Seriously.

Played Monday March 24 at about 11:30a. Tee time made via golfnow.com for about $40 each. Cart included towel and cooler with complimentary water. Course was very playable. No hidden shots. No forced carries. 4 tees for all levels. Tees were flat and cut tight. Greens were very smooth(obviously speed rolled) and held shots well. Bunkers had sand throughout(no dirt here) and no hidden rocks. Pace was about 4:15 for 18 holes. Beautiful, new multimillion dollar clubhouse is also very classy.

Overall, great value(especially with discount) on a very playable course.

Enjoyed the layout. Got a great deal from GolfNow (1/2 off green fees). The greens were firm but fair. I would play this course again!!

I didn't know what to expect with this course, but I'm pleased with what I found. Country Club is a very loose term when talking about this course, more like a muni. A lot of older homes around the course, not like most courses in the Palm Desert Area. I found a $19 green fee on GolfNow.com and I tee'd off at 7:00 and was finished at 10:00. I was a single and I played that way the entire day, And I took my time, even played a few holes twice. I arrived at the course at 6:15 to warm up, but to my surprise there was only one car in the parking lot, so I drove and found me a Starbucks. There is no driving range here and only a net. Very nice putting green and chipping green. The greens on this course were the best I found all week, about medium in speed, and receptive to shots. The fairways had some ground under repair (which was actually being worked on, not just a roped off area). The rough is thick and borders the fairways nicely, requiring accuracy off the tee. The tee boxes could be in a little better shape, the members need lessons on using their sand bottles. Overall I had a great time. Don't expect to find the conditions of the nearby resort courses, but do expect a good day of golf for a cheap price. The course is not very long with some challenging short par 4's with very well placed bunkers and water.

Played 8/4. The fairways on the first few holes had large sections of ground under repair and lots of gnats. This gave a bad first impression. But things seemed to get better after the 3rd hole. The greens were very impressive throughout. They rolled true and consistent and very few ball marks. The layout is fun and challenging. Try to keep it out of the numerous traps as the sand is very soft and the graphite rakes are splintering, which isn't much fun trying to remove tiny bits of graphite from your hand. Overall, the impression is muni-golf in Palm Springs -- which is easy on the wallet, good conditions, but nothing truly spectacular.
