Very nice resort course. A few hard holes and a bunch of easy ones. Not the hardest challenge but a great course to play. the course was in great shape and my only complaint was that a few spots on the green there was sand that wasn't brushed in very well and they used larger grain sand then Ideal.

Primm is one of our favorite places in the Vegas area, although the course is actually located in California just across border. Best deal in Vegas, courses are always in great condition, some terrain, very playable layout. Be sure to stop by the M Resort on the way back to Vegas.

This is always a great course. Level tee boxes, well manicured fairways, good rough, enough of a challenge but still fair. Great greens. Receptive and medium fast. I really enjoy a few of the holes that certainly give you a risk/reward option, or as in my case a risk/punishment option! Staff has always been no less than perfect. Cart girl Sharon, I believe, from Chicago is a sweetheart. This is a first class experience here. Don't just pass it up on your way to Vegas. Desert course is also very good.

Played Primm Valley Lakes on 11/2 around 9:30AM. Even though Mapquest had us taking about 1 hr to get there from the Strip, it actually only took us about 40 min. Very friendly staff that took time to make sure you were taken care of at every corner. Driving range has plenty of room for group of 20+. They have practice area and putting green so if you're the type that want to work on your game before going out for a round, this is the place. Lakes course has lots of little interesting turns and nooks to keep your mind busy. Tee boxes are lush but long. Its more like an intermediate rough than typical short trimmed tee box. Course looks to be just getting out from their over seeding so it did have a feel of shagginess instead of the usual clean cut firm look. Fairway does some thinning area due to Bermuda starting to go dormant while Rye grows tall. Rough is only about 1 inch high but everything sat down so it made shots out of rough pretty difficult to control. Greens were very soft and receptive but still rolled pretty well. IMO, if you're looking to play this course in its tip top shape, I would wait until either Rye fills out or play before Bermuda go dormant. Minor aesthetic touch would help this course out quite a bit. I think playing 36 at Primm Valley is great way to open a buddy golf weekend. We played as 3 some so it only took 3.5 hrs. I would recommend playing here, especially 65% off twilight rates.

Every time I play here I wonder why I don't play it more. Well worth the drive, great course in great condition, even during the hot summer months. Played on August 4th and the service was great.

Only area of concern was the speed of the greens (likely grown out to combat the heat) and the lack of sand in the bunkers. Hopefully they'll fix that soon. And if you can stay out of the traps, you won't have to deal with that.

Already trying to plan another trip to Primm to play.

Played Lakes 6-10 in tournament. Tee'd off at 8am This is my favorite of the two. Much more fun visually. Although for a "lakes" course, it didnt have too much water but oh well. When I go back this will be the course I make sure to play. Make sure to go early and take advantage of their great practice facility.

Played in a tourney sat. 5-19-12. First time playing this course. Let me say. It is a very nice course. A must play !!! Had a good lie all day. We played from the white tees. Was reasonbly short and easy to get to the green. Some nice water features. Great views. Bunkers were good. Only in one all day. I heard the wind can blow hard there. However we did not experience much wind either day . The staff in the clubhouse were accomodating. Definitely would play there again.

Played our men's club tournament round Sat 4/21. Course was in great shape, customer service was great, weather was warm but not bad with 7AM tee time. Greens were not in great playing condition, they had been verticut and sanded. Talking with the guys at the desk they informed me that they used a different sand than what had been used on the Desert course, this one was coarser causing some putts to veer offline. Bunkers were hard pan with 2-3 inches of sand. Otherwise it was another fantastic day golfing.

Played Sunday 5/22, 12:30pm. 1st time playing here and weather cooperated. Little wind but not too bad. Course had good layout with good conditions. Although busy, pace of play also good at around 4 hours. However, didn't particularly like the greens. I thought they were a little slow and bumpy. Overall, it's a good course but I didn't feel it's that different from other good courses in So Cal. Worth the drive to play if you get a good deal or stay and play package at Terrible.
