This was our 6th (and last) course in 7 days. We played the Mesquite/Acacia rotation. We got a good tee time and a great rate (as we did for Wildfire yesterday, and TPC on the 16th) through" phoenixscottsdalegolf.com" website. This was by far the best conditioned course of the 6 we played. It was the greenest, the greens were smooth, although not over fast, they were a nice speed and ran true. Fairways were in great condition, although a bit wet in some areas, but no standing water. This course is very well maintained. The rotation we played was a good design, but as always, if you keep the ball in play you'll shoot good scores, go in the rough or desert and you can sky rocket. We tee off at 0935 and finished at 1:25 pm so the pace was great. The staff were helpful and professional. Cart girl was around enough (beer $4.50). The air conditioned carts were a blessing today too, fairly humid, hot (101) day. All 4 of us agreed that we would play this course again perhaps even at the "rack rate" hahaha. I'm kinda sorry that it took me so long to decide to play it, considering I've stayed right next to it about 4 times that I've been in the Phoenix area.
