Played January 4th with an internet special ($69 with cart, + $2 for GPS-no option), it was a cool day, not many on course. None of our group liked the course, there were many, many blind tee shots, and/or blind second shots, with little idea as to where to hit to. The GPS system, although good, wasn't very helpful as to where to hit it. traps were not in good shape (don't go in them) and well placed as we were often in them! The staff were very friendly, and tried to be helpful to 4 newbies. It started to rain on about the 12th hole, so were got somewhat wet, but finished. As mentioned none of us liked it, if you can play with a member or someone who knows the course it would help otherwise "good luck". We won't go back though.

This was a nice course but watch out for the MANY fungus (mushrooms) throughout the course and the maintence personnel have a tendancy to get in the way.

Course was in excellent shape,played super bowl weekend.Greens were overall in excellent shape and somewhat hard to read.Thats what the game is all about,no complaints. Fairways were tight,but if you kept in the fairway,then the ball would defintely go long. Practice facility was ok,but i have been on better.Service was excellent and the scenery was beautiful,the McDowell mountains bordered the course.Overall i had a wonderful time. The Sancutary Golf Course in Scottsdale.

They have a good deal until July 30th. $29 any day any time per player + lunch. Need to print coupon page off their website sanctuarygolf.com. Course is coming out of aeration nicely. Greens weren't as fast as they can be. Course puts a premium on driving with its tight fairways. Going into most greens you don't want to miss long. At 6600 yds it plays tougher than the card reads. Has a good practice facility. The service was OK. Played afternoon on 7/15/07.
