Played here Father's Day with a couple of foursomes. Overall, it was a very enjoyable course. Although the tee boxes were a little thin, they did not impact most tee shots. Fairways in good condition, though there some divot issues in places. Greens were relatively fast but firm, and held a good iron shot into them. A little bumpy, but definitely readable and a properly hit putt went in. The traps (I am told by my partners) were in poor shape (very firm with no loose sand for an explosion shot.

It was nice playing a course where houses aren't the main feature, and a missing a fairway didn't mean landing in someone's backyard. The water hazards definitely make the course more challenging, and therein lies the only complaint I had with the course: management has dyed the lakes, and in doing so, apparently killed off a lot of the fish in them. The smell from all the dead fish was absolutely unbearable on three holes. For a "$$$" course, one expects better. The starter had some control issues as well, but the course itself is definitely a fun one to play.

Played on 6/14/08. Course was is good shape for a week of 105+ temperatures. The greens held good shots and the layout was a nice challenge, but not overly difficult. The last two holes will test your stamina with a lengthy par 5 17th with water along the right and a semi island green followed by a long par 4 with a daunting creek along the right that cuts in front of the green. Overall a nice loop that I wouldn't mind playing several times.

This course has a good layout but needs a little TLC. The rough was in terrible shape with lots of bare spots. The sant traps has very corse sand with lots of small rocks. The greens were in good shape and most of the fairways were good. There were a few that had lots of diviots but you could tell this was the perfered lay up area. With the coupon from the SWPGA Card web site this was a good deal.
