The TPS runs a summer special for $99 to play both courses (the Champion and Stadium). We started on the Champion course at 6:30am. The tee boxes were is great condition and enjoyed every part of this course. The Fairway on the Champion course was in great condition and well watered. The greens could not have been better. The Stadium course fairway was on not kept up as well as the champion course however the greens made up for that. I would recommended to all to take advantage of this special during the summer time however you will need to call at 7am 7 days in advance to make your reservations. Good luck and enjoy.

Loved everything about the course and experience while on vacation in March at the Scottsdale Princess with one exception. The group in front of us was slow and the starter held us up on the first tee for about 10 minutes then followed us the entire round until #16 badgering us to speed up when there was no way to unless we went through the other group. He would literally sit behind us while hitting like the Course Police and that was unfortunate considering we had no control over it.

Played 7/20. Got a good online rate of $37 + tax. I reviewed this course last month and everything I said that was good still stands. The course is in the best shape of anything I have played this summer. I have since added it to my favorites. Greens have come back great since they were aerated. They are firm, fast, & true. Staff & service were excellent. Nice practice facility. If you are a mid to low handicapper this course will challenge you.

Played 5/21. Course was in great condition. Tight layout. Target golf. You have to carry shots to landing areas. Transition or "waste areas" are between landing areas. ( These transition areas look like giant bunkers with a few plants. They are not hazards. You can ground your club & pick up loose impediments.) Fairways were only 22-25 yards wide on some holes. Rough was cut short which gave you a good lie, but it won't stop anything hit low and hard. Beyond the rough is desert. There are some open places to find your ball, but if it's not sitting where you can easily see it, then it's lost. They don't have GPS but the course was well marked. The greens were large and undulated. You need to hit your shots on the right "level" where the pin is. If you don't it's a difficult 2 putt. They had the greens running slow because of the wind conditions. There were plenty of well placed bunkers on the course. You pay the price if you are in any. They are deep with soft sand.
The service was excellent. I want to give credit to the course for being smart about making it a enjoyable golf experience. We had a severely windy day. (25-40 mph) The course knew this and took it into consideration by eliminating the gold tees for the day. They also had maintenance workers hand watering the greens throughout the day to keep them from drying out. This made the course still playable in under 5 Hours even though it still kicked our butts.
