Official review below. Interesting new fact -I heard last summer that unusually it is the women's club which controls this course rather than the men's club. Whoever is doing it, I aprove. The course is exponentially better than it was seven or eight years ago, especially the greens.

I played the Bishop course twice last week. The going rate on Saturday was $61 with cart. The course was lush. There were two levels of rough, with the highest about two inches. The tees were okay, with some that were not level. The greens were great. Smooth and medium fast. We played both days in the early mornings when they were watering heavily because of the heat so there were some wet areas. Since it got to the mid-90s, I am assuming that is not a factor in the afternoons.

Overall, I like the course. There is some type of water on almost every hole. The two nines are fairly distinct, with the back nine appearing more modern with large greens and more water features. The course is flat and easily walkable. The staff is great. The cafe is above average - people in town go there for lunch. They make their own Bloody Mary mix. The greens fee was a little high but the alternative in Mammoth is twice as much!
