Played on Memorial Day 6am tee time.
Only one employee in the shop at open and he was great getting a cart for my buddy bouncing around with a friendly smile on the hustle.
I was privileged to be able to raise old glory remembering and honoring those who gave all.
No pace of play issues following a single and twosome.
Course is a draw the ball design.
Most every hole exception the 9th a R-L drive will help you.
Greens still in recovery mode from aeration now and occasional bump and a few holes left to completely fill-in. Rolling moderate speed and better than last Saturday.
Mowing was active maintaining tee boxes and green surrounds. Watering on a few fairways.
The protective fairway bunker on 8 was damp from this my ball sitting up. Jumped in between streams made bogey.
Overall course is growing out and heading into summer look forward to good getting better trend.
Fun factor for me was up as I put in a clean 9 holes with 2 pars and 7 bogeys. Can't recall when last time I accomplished that.
I like the place. Even better when the driver cooperates. And some luck on my side this day.
Value rate imo at $19 walking. Blue collar golf in the foothills :)
