Course is in slightly rough shape. Fairways dormant and thin with many bare areas mixed in. Greens were in pretty good shape. Receptive, a little bumpy mostly from foot prints and ran at a medium pace.
Tees were thin with many bare areas. Traps have not been cleaned or maintained and are basically waste areas full of weeds. A good course to bring beginners or to just get out of the house.

Played 4/15/22 2 pm $25 9 holes w/ cart. Course is coming out of winter dormant. Fairways a mix of green , tan and bare spots. They have good coverage & I found mostly decent grass. Greens very lush, receptive and SLOW. Fun little 9 hole "Muni" style course. No one out on this day and I played the 9 in about 1.5 hrs. They used to have two flags on each green. First 9 and second 9 pins, but they only had the one today. A short course and a fun place to go swing the clubs.

Mostly tan in color and looking dormant. Played better then they looked. Greens looked to be about a week past punching. Holes mostly visible and some sand remains. Bumpy and not holding much of any line. Very spongy. Never felt greens that soft under foot. Traps very wet and firm. Paid $22 for 9 & a cart on a beautiful morning. Fun day on a fun course in decent but not great shape.

Trying to get caught up on my reviews from Norcal. I also played here on Friday evening after getting into Woodland at a decent time. It was $15 to walk a little after 6:00. I wanted to rent a cart, but they wouldn't let me at that time of day. The teenage kid in the pro shop wasn't very helpful and had all sorts of "policies" and excuses (none of which held water). Really, he just wanted to avoid any extra work and close the shop early. Funny thing is he was just leaving as I finished up on 9, and there was another guy still working in the cart barn cleaning up other returned carts. Makes no sense they wouldn't rent one out with that much daylight left. Oh well. Kind of ticked me off, but I got to enjoy some extra exercise in a very stuffy 95 degrees with no shade on the course! As for the course, it was decent on all levels. Solid 9-hole layout that is kind of spread out through a residential community (some long walks in between holes, which added to the misery). Two holes/flags on every green for front and back play, which is not something I am fond of. Would rather just have two sets of tees or just replay the same nine. The greens are rather large, though, so the holes usually don't infringe upon one another. Conditions were also pretty decent. Tee boxes fine. Fairways had good coverage. Plenty of roll-out and mostly good lies to hit from. Rough a little spottier, but mostly fine. Wasn't in any bunkers. Greens were receptive and rolling at medium speeds. A bit bumpy late in the day showing footprints and lots of ball marks. Overall, a pretty solid 9-hole regulation course. Twilight service left something to be desired. Someone that young probably shouldn't be running the pro shop. That said, it was slow out there and I can understand if they want to close up early in the dead of summer, even though I still finished (walking) before they really closed shop!

A fun 9 hole layout through houses. A easy walking course. There are two flags on each hole to add a little different shot valve when playing 18.

Played 12/24. 11:30 AM. Had the course to ourselves. After all the rain the course drained well. Fairways are in typical dormant scalped conditions. Greens were great. Soft smooth and quick. Amazing... Continue »

Played 12/24. 11:30 AM. Had the course to ourselves. After all the rain the course drained well. Fairways are in typical dormant scalped conditions. Greens were great. Soft smooth and quick. Amazing after 2" of rain. Fun course with nice view of area.

Had a great time, and as always, the staff was super. I played by myself and it was very quiet for a Saturday. So few people play this course and I didn't run into anyone until the last two holes. The fairways are dormant for the winter but as always the greens are great! I almost shot par on a par 4 but my ball bounced off the pole and caused my ball to lip out. I can't blame this on the hole - bummer. Though the course was pretty dry after all the rain we had, a couple of spots were roped off due to the softness of the ground. I'm really looking forward to the spring when the fairways will come back to life.

Played today. 11/14/10 – Employees were very friendly and their customer service was very good. Fairways were turning lightly brown for the winter but the tee boxes and greens were nice and green. This is a fun course. I like that they have water points along the way so you can get something to drink if you run out of water. I did not eat at the “Nest” but I did check it out. They have plenty of cold drinks and adult beverages along with a variety of hot and cold sandwiches. They also have onion rings, mozzarella sticks and other things like soup and salads. I found the bathrooms to be nice and clean. I would recommend this course to anyone.
